After staring at them awhile, I have decided I don't not like them. Nice idea with the hangul but still better as phone cases.

The medals do match the clean and simple aesthetic they're going for it seems. Not the most ground-breaking and exciting of designs though I must admit. Maybe there are some extra hidden features we don't know about? Lol.

the gold medal probably wants to be more masculine and that's why it refuses to be too pretty. We all know how important that is, especially in men's skating!

They're quite understated - but no doughnuts so ok I think.  You've got to admit Sochi medals were unusually pretty and hard to follow

Someone srsly should do a snowglobe inspired design. It's so obvi and yet WHY NOT DONE YET? Sochi style but with a window full of floating sparklies.

At Skate Canada events, spectators are permitted to use small point and shoot cameras for personal use only. The following guidelines will be enforced:
– No flash photography
– No camera bags in venue

– Any resale of photography or posting photos on professional websites is strictly prohibited
– Absolutely no video recording is allowed. If athletes wish to obtain a video of their programs, they may purchase a copy from the licensed video distributor on site if applicable.
