Guys, I don't know how to read Japanese so I'm not sure - how does one participate in the lottery thing to get the G-Shock watch (for both the feathers and non-feathers version)? :tumblr_inline_mfy936EPNF1qid2nw:

I think you have to buy 1,000yen worth of Xylitol products and then enter on the website.

I can tell he learnt a lot from skating to H&L.

In one section, he might not have realised it, but he actually uses the reader-centred approach in performing.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reader-response_criticism

While watching, each of the audience brings in their own experiences and feelings to experience his skate.

What makes Yuzu such an engrossing skater is that he isn't just telling a story, he is allowing us to experience it with him & work together to complete the skate. Both sides invest feelings into the story. I love how Yuzu appreciates his audience, I don't know, but I've often guessed he understood that his skate gains extra meaning when an audience enters his skate and interacts with it.  I wonder if Yuzu will be interested in reading about indeterminacy in literature & literary theory like works of Wolfgang Iser & Stanley Fish?

But this interview has really touched on why he has reached heights of artistry beyond reach: the key is 'enter'. In a world where all skaters 'put', he 'enters' and /invites/ ppl to 'enter'. To enter, to submerse, to experience. Not be a recipient of 'put'. The audience is not passive, they are as active as Yuzu who is weaving the skate.

This is the reason why a heart throbs, and blood pulses through the veins whenever Hanyu Yuzuru skates. This is the reason.

Okay, so now all is right with the world. I was wondering what happened to allow that software to ID him as male!

So when is (or was) the Matsuoka talk?

it starts in a little under 20 minutes, I think. Well the show. No idea when the interview will be (it lasts 1 hour 15 minutes)

It's TV Asahi, technically they shouldn't be as mean as Fuji :P
