LOL, yeah it's Madame Tussauds. I just realized I'm wearing the cardigan I wore that day when I visited. Thankfully it was a light day so my friend and I had it all to ourselves lol. Yuzu's is cool, but Mao's is really cool as they have her figure spinning on a revolving table.

When I was in Tokyo I saw the team event from the night before in 8K. Keiji was falling all over himself but at least the colors were stunning and it was an enormous screen! Even more amusing, I could spot myself in the crowd. If I ever needed an alibi for my whereabouts the prior day, there'd have been no better opportunity to present proof!

Taking a crack at it while expecting to be wrong but from the gist of it is that she finds his strong expression and the use of his knees is very informative. And more than anything since there is a flowing story involved in figure skating, she'll learn from studying composition and flow. Not swearing by this but that's what I sort of gathered.

We made something like them in my shop class in junior high school. Also made a power puff girls cd holder that I still have on my desk. At the very least it should last a while. But I'm glad Yuzu has other grand prixs that will take a little more care when it comes to the prizes. These skaters work too hard for something so cheap and tacky. I like glass/crystal a lot. In my AMV contest editing days I would enter AMV competitions specifically if I knew they had crystal trophies up for grabs as they look so nice on display .

They could. They absolutely could. Would have saved them editing time .

They could and should show Yuzuru for all of the points, but it's cute how they try to spread the wealth.

This is true. I remember during practice at worlds in Helsinki, I watched Boyang and Nate jumping quads lutzes in the same spot one after the other and the quality is night and day. Nate's jumps will get you there (like a reliable car, your Civic, but it's not the type to turn heads), but Boyang's had a WOW factor (like a sports car that may end up getting repairs more often, but when it's working well then boy can it perform!). I only feel that way about Boyang's lutz though. In general I prefer Yuzuru for every other jump since he has pretty and smooth run-outs, AND prettier in-air position (I don't love Boyang's head and I'm also not crazy about Nate's spatula hands). And at the end of the day, more people can afford that reliable civic than that sports car.

They aren't the only ones. I saw multiple guys skating with them at the Olympics. It is a nice touch I think.
