Exactly this. 4+3, and even to some degree 2+1, is something mostly everyone is already doing right now anyway. Because there's only so many ways you can cram all your jumps in a program, short of doing them all upfront. So I fail to see what's so special about this rule now.

Now I'm torn which day I'd like to see on broadcast. Well maybe not torn exactly bec for sure I'd want to see the days with Yuzu there. But also curious to see Shoma's SP. Hopefully the various broadcasts show different days.

So if you have 2 SP jumps in the 2nd half, which one gets the bonus?

Why don't they just tell the skaters how to structure their programs to the very last element while they're at it? Now most everyone will have 2+1 SP and 4+3 FS programs. And sort of felt the judging panel split wouldn't push through. No one wants to lose that much control over the judging

Who is Cha's main coach btw? I thought it was Brian, since he's the one who goes with him to comps. But in one of the recent articles Brian said he intends to be the main coach for Yuzu, Boyang and Evgenia. Or was that just a happenstance omission?

Hmm.. That quote from Brian got me worried. The approach of thinking it should be okay if he didn't say anything has gotten a lot of relationships into trouble before. I'm not saying it's true in this case, but just not comfortable with that way of thinking about things. But anyway, don't mind me. Just a bit worried I guess. But I trust Yuzu. Whatever the situation he finds himself in, I'm sure he'll make it work (and will it to work lol).
