I really have to salute Zhenya though, for taking control of her future. Not many people who have grown up in a heavily structured and very prescriptive environment have the courage to decide to take a different path for themselves. I'm not really a fan, but really admiring now her determination and tenacity to reach her goals. She truly has the heart of a champion.

Ugh... this is all turning so ugly. Why can't Eteri's students be given their freedom to choose and decide for themselves and their careers, just like everyone else? Students leave and change their coaches all the time. It should not be treated as if it's a personal affront, and blown out of proportion this way. I liked it more when we all thought this time, all parties would try their best to make this split as amicable as possible. Why ain't it happening??

I guess I'm not too worried about Brian's attention being split, but more with how all the changes will affect the dynamics within the group. All the rumoured skaters who are said to be joining the team come with the huge attention that comes with being high profile skaters themselves. Any change of course will cause some level of disruption to how things are, all the more in this case where the people involved attract a lot of attention and talk. I guess I'm just irrationally feeling protective of Yuzu, and hoping that whatever disruptions there are everything will come out alright for everyone in the end

Tbh foremost still in my mind is how all these will affect Yuzu, whether directly or indirectly. I know it's selfish, and it's just me being an irrational fan. But I'm just hoping with all the changes happening in TCC, everything will settle down nicely in the end and the changes in the training environment will prove beneficial for everyone.
