This is like a live experiment of how various types of imagination working together fast in real time to produce something close to most anticipated reality

Venue, team, Jason Brown, Nobu, venue, venue. Still here and on twt waiting for *anything*. This is the most phantom-like, crumbless Yuzu-related experience so far.

@caramelicht it's done already

Ok, pictures of the team, pictures of the venue now. But, excuse me, we need some more substantial crumbs, especially given this no broadcasting situation!

Thanks! I've seen that for a moment some of these seats behind the judges were available to purchase as VIP Package (I suppose the most expensive one). *[I will move this post to the new thread on tickets]* VIP tickets were on sale late June, the regular all-event were available on 19 July or so. I think the PH organised group managed to purchase the tickets before the regular all-event tickets were available and that the group asked for gold (regular) package tickets. Single event tickets were available in October and some people also got these tickets. Note that there was also some kind of "sale" with "Smart Sport packages" in September (something round 10 Sept), when they were selling the same all-event packages but with a much lower price than the one from July.

I am not sure whether the price was lower, but it was much less stressful in terms of the process of getting a ticket & the tickets were purchased earlier (which has a clear advantage). These were the prices for "regular" (so not VIP) all-event packages: Platinum €758 Gold €584 Silver €459 Bronze 1 €335 Bronze 2 €230 Prices dependent on the seating area, see the map here (The original webpage is unavailable, and I could only find the map on account that appears to be Shoma's fan): EDIT: I think at some point it was also possible to buy tickets on the judges' side, but many of these were most likely reserved by the ISU.

We knew GP assignments will be announced in late June but there are reports it may be on June 30. "Sources tell" Russia's event be moved to Finland, no rumour on the China event, though. I would go to Finland (if Yuzu's assigned) and I would go to Turin. Although Canada may invite him, too? Who knows!
-
exactly, plus you suddenly get a boost in your number of posts and getting your PH rank upgrade seemingly out of nowhere.
-
Yeah, I would decide to go for it only and only for having the best possible seat, not interested in "gourmet" or lounge.

These were the VIP packages and prices (under spoiler)

Just to add: for similar reasons I've read almost the whole thread on GPF 2019 (Tickets & Discussion), see HERE Since it's planned to take place in the same venue (PalaVela) - they may have some info as well https://www.palavelatorino.it/eventi/ But last time they also had a special website torino2019.com, so maybe they will have a similar one for the incoming event. It was via https://www.vivaticket.com/it. They were first selling VIP tickets late June and then I think 19-20 July the all-event tickets were available. Satellites here also formed a group to purchase group tickets.

Yeah, he shrugs and nods and does the lip-sync.

Makes a perfect sense, thanks!

Not day 3, I think. The stream on Japan.TV is not super great, but it's nice anyway to have this new version. I only learned today thanks to the info here (got too much into the ISU congress, so this is a treat).

Absolutely. He is not simply responding to notes, but he's co-creating the performance as composed of various forms of artistic expression, he's in a dialogue, in a conversation with the music. HYK is a good example. At first you think he's beautifully following the notes, while in fact, this is much more nuanced. Melody is flowing, but he's pausing, coming in, accelerating, slowing down again. He's also accentuating the notes, with his body often following the melody line. Here he's going down together with the music going into lower notes where his hands are drawing a circle on the ice, and then going up, as if picking something up and releasing it. It is composed of little sequences like the one below ending with that beautiful spin exit.

So it's done. -
Thank you so much for this beautiful testimony with all the details about your personal experience, the atmosphere in the venue, the perspective of the audience and your reception of Yuzuru's performance in those different places and moments - when it's personal, it really helps the reader to almost feel as if you're taking us with you for a brief moment. Also, super nicely put together. Watching all the videos, although we can see all the close-ups on Yuzu (especially in the video from Nagoya), is not comparable to an in-person experience and being in the audience. We could clearly see Yuzuru's expressiveness, but my impression is after reading about your memories, that there is this extra factor that is hardly possible to grasp, when you're only watching a video. You need to be there, in the venue, cheering if only quietly and letting yourself feel the atmosphere of the moment. Anyway - thank you very much again, great to "meet" someone from Sendai.

And finally - this one. They had a discussion on how this has budgetary implications plus they will draft a resolution to test it first. -

They accepted the jump sequence proposal. All these axel jumps combos would have a higher BV now. -
If I can say this - so so proud of him! Now I'm also happy he will have some time to rest.
