I got that burned-out feeling from him all last season too, which I believe had a big hand in making it kinda meh for him. But I also think having that experience will help him this year; he probably knows better where his limits are, and now with the Olympics on the horizon he has a clear goal. He may have been adrift last year, but he wants that medal and he's going for it. I'm crossing everything crossable in my body for that 4Lo, tbh

They're very close in height. Yuzu may have a couple centimeters on Javi now, but nothing as big as it seems here (we don't see their legs, so we don't know how the way they're standing affects everything)

I agree. After having a taste of what competing for a whole season without any major injuries feels like, I'm pretty sure he wants to keep it like that. He'll still play around with jumps, I'm sure, but nothing drastic. Progress, at last!

Maybe it's because I'm burned out from finals, but I'm not even worried about his choice of FP at this time? I wasn't sold on threepeat Chopin at first but I made my peace with it: there're both pros and cons to that decision, so the pros must be bigger for him. It's fine (and lookng good for this time in the season, from what I've seen!). If he does end up going for Seimei, I'd love to see a new music cut (there's so much to choose from in those OSTs) that brings the novelty of a new program but keeps the soul of the old one that resonated and worked so well for him.

Also, lower necklines are always a from me, but you know he'll wear illusion mesh over it

I love the colour scheme and texture (dark blue + gold + sheer fabric = totally my thing), but it reminds me so much of Shoma's second costume for last season's SP...

Having more time to spend on the new jump is kinda the whole point, right? Yeah, he will upgrade as much as he's able, but keeping a base that's already ingrained and he's comfortable with should give him a headstart on that. I was never mad at him choosing Chopin again; as much as I want to get as many programs from him, it's his decision and he must have his reasons. We will have our own opinions, but in the end his is the only one that matters

Aunque tenga la música elegida, dudo que él y Jeffrey hayan tenido mucho tiempo de sentarse a ver qué cosas van a cambiar y cuáles no.
