4lz has no effect on 3F. Lutz edge has no connection to Flip edge. It's the 3lz might be affected by 4lz but if he does 4lz then he won't do 3lz anymore so it is not an issue. 4lz has no more risk on the landing foot (right leg) than other quads. really? I read a few days ago that Yuna injured her landing foot because she did a lot of lutzes and I thought that by doing a quad you need to use more force than usual with a toepick. And I read (on GS...) that doing lutzes and flips close to each other may effect the weaker jump. Anyway if it's not true then it means that there are less cons for this kind of layout :grin:

This is my fave :grin: Pros: +huge increase in base value +not too many changes. He did 3A-3T a couple of times in competition. 4Lz is the only new jump +We know he can execute 4 quads in FS (he did it 3(?)times: 4CC, WC, WTT), +he has enough stamina to execute this kind of program, +other elements won't suffer that much, Cons: -adding a new jump during Oly season is risky -we don't know if his edge on 3F won't suffer because of 4Lz (and those 2 jumps are quite close to each other) -with 4Lz, there is a bigger risk of injuring his landing foot -no rippon :cry:

How do you recognize that? I mean the video starts with Boyang going into the jump. Maybe the approach run was there?

It's not really important at this moment but right now the title of this forum is just "Planet Hanyu". It would be better to add sth like "Planet Hanyu - International Forum for Yuzuru Hanyu" so it's easier to search it using search engines (SEO and staff). And maybe add some keywords like figure skating etc. :)

Ja jak byłam mała to bardzo chciałam być łyżwiarką. Pamiętam, że nawet płakałam jak mama mi powiedziała, że to niemożliwe (sprawy finansowe + brak lodowiska). W telewizji trochę oglądałam za czasów Mao i Yuny, ale wtedy nie miałam o niczym zielonego pojęcia. Później miałam długą przerwę i w sumie na początku tego sezonu poczułam nagłą potrzebę, żeby pooglądać łyżwiarstwo na youtubie :p No i potem zaczęłam uczyć się zasad, rozróżniać skoki itd :wink:

Hejo :) NIe wiem czemu, ale mam trudności z przestawieniem się na język polski, jeśli chodzi o łyżwiartstwo. Po polsku czasami tylko marudzę znajomym podczas mistrzostw czy innych zawodów, a oni i tak nie rozumieją o czym mówię :rofl2: Mam nadzieję, że uzbiera nas się tutaj więcej :)

Shoma just said he will try to include 4Lz... and we know how his 3Lz looks like... Personaly I want Yuzu's FS layout to have 4 quads with 4Lz and 3A-3T. I am willing to sacrifice rippon :cry: With 5 quads every other element will loose quality and it will be much harder mentally. About SP... I hope someone will persuade/force him to make combo his first jumping pass

Sometimes it takes me a lot of time to write a post because I don't know how to word some things in English :) But when you're not confident in your English, just remember that Yuzu trains in Toronto and his coaches understand him even with his imperfect English :p
