They should use those tomatoes as a bait

Yes, it has. But he also recently chose kanji for "to soar". Yuzu is extra so it wouldn't surprise me if everything was on purpose
-
He has wings on his new blades... Swan lake? Black swan? those blades are also black... Other bird-related program? Or maybe like mentioned before one-winged angel?

He can go Medvedeva style and do //4Lo 4T-3T 3A - 52.21 BV

BV and pcs are switched :) so 39.55 is a base value, not pcs

Yuzu's "adobaisu purizu"
-
That's why I said ignoring other factors
-
I wonder if 2012 Yuzu would still choose 4S to train with Javi or would he rather choose 4Lz to train with Boyang. Of course ignoring every other factor. I was a little worried when they annouced that Yuzu will be doing every single FaOI show but now I think it's a great opportunity. He can meet with his friends (Nobu). He can stalk Plushenko... I mean ask him for advice. I hope he can learn sth about spins from Stephane because his spins are Since his English improved, he should be able to say sth more than "Adobaisu purizu" . He can work with Jeff on choreo a little bit if they both have time. I hope he will avoid Johnny Weir because we don't need another boobskirt... unless it's a lucky item for Olympics. And the most important, I hope he will have fun and stay healthy.

Yes, he said he isn't planning to include it, not that he won't do it. He also said that he has no plans (in the same show) so... And I am sure he would rather include it from the very beginning of the season. We are talking about a man who included 4Lo in his short program because he wanted to stabilize it. Brian told him not to do it but Yuzu did it anyway because he wanted more chances to try it in competition. And with 4Lo in both SP and FS he could do it twice as much.

I actually wonder how judges would score his Swan delayed single axel. Since his 3F isn't 3+ worthy (in judges' eyes of course) because it's a triple. Would a perfect and planned (not popped) single jump be high GOE worthy?
-
It isn't over. Right now we are kind of discussing it in general Yuzuru chat When did he try -3Lo combo?

Based on wikipidia Plush competed in 2 competitions before Vancouver and Yuna in 5 (exluding nationals) before Sochi. Yuzuru on the other hand competed in 18 (16 without WTT) competitons so far. And both Yuna and Plushenko didn't compete in GPF during Olympic season and we know Yuzu is aiming for his 5th GPF gold medal next season . Judges clearly aren't impressed by 4Lo. Youngsters' advantage is that they have 4Lz/4F. But if Yuzu adds 4Lz next season, things may change. Actually not only Yuzu. There's Nam and Patrick who may add 4F next season. And if that's a case, will canadian fed leave Shoma and his 3.25F alone? Add american fed to that because of Nathan's 4F. Kolyada will probably improve his 4Lz. Vincent Zhou may become senior next season. I am sure there's more. So 4Lz/4F probably won't be so special anymore. But it's still very important for Yuzu to add that 4lz.

Page from Yuzuru's journal New year's resolutions 2017: 1. A new WR 2. Gold medal at Worlds 3. Confess my love to 3A 4. <Some crazy goal> 5. <Sth even crazier>

The LGC talk kind of inspired me. How many of his goals did he achieve last season? What did he learn? I don't remember all his goals but some of them: stabilize 4Lo and get positive GOE - check 2 quads in the second half - check improve his stamina and quality of the elements even when he is tired - check connection to the audience - check new style of SP - check Not planned things: 3 quads in the second half 3A as last jump 4T-1/2Lo-3S landed in competition ability to improvise Other things: He improved his biellmann spin, He started to take care of his health and body. He tried various entries into his 3A: ina bauer, twizzles, hydroblade. He learnt that he can survive without quad battles at galas Maybe it's just me but I think his relationship with Brian got better. Like Brian started to understand Yuzu more. He could observe his rivals at Worlds and WTT. I am pretty sure he learnt something from watching ladies at WTT as well He realized he only has 30 seconds of preparation before a skate... I am glad it happened this season. It could be Olympics... He landed 4Lz at gala practice. The landing was but the rest was perfect What did I miss?

he can do this:

Yes, Yuzu... You are very bad at short programs...

Can skaters do a jump sequence in a SP? Or can they only do a combination?

here it is: https://planethanyu.com/topic/121-20151215-hodo-stn-special-interview-wi-furutachi/ 4Lo3a is a sequence, not a combination. The same with the rest. You can't do a combination with Axel at the end (unless you can jump in both directions...) It's still very impressive but it wouldn't make sense to use them in a competiton.

I just did. I am so embarrassed...

I made my own

I hope that next season Yuzu will only do Biellmann during important competitions. Better for his back. I would rather see it less often but for the longer period of time. And assuming that he was working with a spin specialist lately I can't wait to see how his other spins will improve. Maybe even we will see something new
