I hate to see this. I know that University has some sort of residency requirements (like they can't be out of the country for such and such amount of time) but there is not a coach in Korea who can help him move up internationally. I'm not saying it has to be Brian - someone like Stephane could work and is somewhat closer. I just want him to have some good coaching.

Although it's obviously good for business, I don't think posting the actual products Tae bought is okay. Post that he came in and made purchases, but don't advertise what he picked out.

I was wrong about the dates but it doesn't make me feel any better, except that maybe Hobi will be able to go. I'm so confused. The three at the concert knew about it, of course, so there must be some reason for the dates. I suppose it's possible to have RM and maybe Jimin enlist in the next month, but they wouldn't actually go right away. Maybe Yoongi will announce that, too, and this is meant to take some of the sting away. The timing is just so odd. (Clarity to follow?) I don't know enough about the enlistment dates (like from time of announcing to time of actually showing up) to even hazard a guess. It was not the same for Jin and Hobi, but Jin had limited time left... There must be set times at different bases for basic training. It's not like you can pick a day and join... When did we think JK was going to release his album or mini-album? I thought July, but just a Twitter tease? JK hasn't said a date -

I kept waiting for Tony Montana - happy to see Jimin, Tae and JK there but surprised RM wasn't. Or maybe he was but he wasn't shown. Questions though: why did he even say this was his last performance, his last song (and he did) if he had these other three already planned? I feel a little duped. And how does this affect military enlistment (though it is only two weeks away...)? I kind of thought that RM and Jimin (if he doesn't wait for JK and now I don't think he will because that puts it months out) and Yoongi would all be in by the end of August. RM certainly implied at Festa that he would be in soon. And Jimin is way past his promotions. I want so badly for there to be a reunion date and that keeps changing. Hobi doesn't have a day off until nearly the end of July and they could technically all be together to send off the next recruit or recruits, but if they are waiting 100 days after that, it'll be November and I somehow thought they'd all be in by the end of this year. They confuse me. And I'm not sure why, but announcing three more Seoul concerts kind of annoyed me. Especially with live streams added. There has been no ticketing announcement by Weverse yet but it'll be another bloodbath (and no way I could go even if I didn't "miss" in their lottery...). The timing coincides with TXT at Lollapalooza and a few weeks before what we think is a JK release. And how does anyone, except local residents, even plan for something they don't know if they can get tickets for? It's still in the academic year for public schools and the start of the summer semester for university students (and I suspect that means more university students in Seoul).

I love that I heard Take Two at the grocery store here a couple of days ago - and Left and Right today (that I like, but still like anything that's OT7 better -). We will all be thinking about Amy at the concert tonight.... I will be recording the concert with my phone and then downloading it to a special thumb drive so it doesn't take up all my storage (and recording tomorrows too) - so PLEASE no messages or texts!!! We know RM, Jimin, Tae and JK will show up - I wonder if we will see them or just on fancams later. Or Yoongi points them out. Maybe a couple tonight and the pthers tomorrow. It would be great for Jin to be able to go (and poor Hobi isn't at 100 days in yet, so no days off)

I missed Tae's but not Jimin. But he didn't answer any of my questions - that I asked using Korean. Like "where is the best fried chicken?" and "do you get to talk to Jin and Hobi?". It seems to me that almost no members will be in Seoul this weekend. And "live" doesn't mean live anymore. So, who knows about RM. I, on the other hand, will be in Seoul. At SFO and waiting for my (full) flight. A nightmare travel this time....mire later. So, I'll try to get photos of all purple things. And going to the Festa Festival even though it'll be 90 and no shade.

Love Tae's instagram posts (and where is he on his way to now?) but this one leaves me asking a question - what did Hobi land on? That's a big jump! I'd have broken something.

Anxious for OT7 to be together again. Interesting article - He didn't start with Hybe until last year - I wonder who the tech wizard behind all the mind-blowing special effects for MVs is. There must have only been one or two initially and those are the ones I;d like to hear about. I suspect they have massive team now.

And something else: Also - no luck in getting into the "lounge" or special fireworks viewing area. Love how Weverse doesn't say you lost but that you "missed". I call it losing.

In regards to the news report - I thought it a bit odd they didn't mention the "why" of the hiatus, but I also suspect it's reasonably well known about their mandatory military service (bolds as a statement by me....). They have also covered when Jin and Hobi went in -
