And I totally agree. It was beyond stupid for the government and and the ministry of defense to NOT have made some cultural ambassadors for 18 months. And no one will be at the K-pop jamboree. The scouts are being sent home ahead of the typhoon. New thing:

OK - I'm not often right on these things but I'm patting myself on the back for predicting a September release for Tae. Sometimes I get it right. There are suggestions on how to buy and pre-order in order for our purchases to count on BB (those nasties). Pre-order the single CD and the digital full album from the BTS US shop (done!) But not I-tunes - and this is why: So I'll hold off on ITunes. And trying to figure out where to get the best deal considering shipping on the physical CD. Target seems to be random and I want the purple one so will likely be forced to get it from the BTS USA/Weverse shop. There are instructions on how to get buys to count via the global shop -I'll look into it tomorrow. Tae;s lead single sounds like it's going to be a slow song but who knows. And I wish I knew that any messages to #to_suga #to_yoongi actually get delivered to them, I send Jin and Hobi a message every week on their special #to_ addresses. Yoongi at least said "see you in 2025'. I still remember dearly Jin''s last Live when he just basically walked out the camera view and was gone. No good bye,]. THey all have their own ways. Having Yeonton so prominent in Tae's promotion makes me all warm and fuzzy,,,,

The only reason I knew you were alive and well was your "likes" on Instagram posts. Glad you made it out alive!

I was under the impression that Tae's album is ready to go. I suspected that they would wait to release it until at least a few weeks after JitB comes out (the 18th?0. It's not like there will be a promotional tour with that. But Hybe would be wise to have at least several weeks before asking ARMY to spend some more money. JK is a mystery. I think there is a 50/50 chance he puts out anything new but if he does, it'll be after Tae. The Yoongi announcement was expected, though seemed a bit abrupt, I actually thought RM would announce at the same time. And Jimin has no professional reason (musically) to not be the next one - both he and RM. Anyone gone is someone we will miss terribly, but if two or three went at the same time, it would be like pulling a bandaid off. Hurts but only for a bit. There is a piece of me that thinks maybe RM is still in a leader role and feels responsible for the younger ones, though it's clear JK is out of anyone's control. Jimin may want to wait for him but the dates are so nebulous. It's still possible RM and Jimin will announce within weeks. I wonder what the chances are that any of them end up at the same base... And a Jimin promo for Tiffany -

Since I was sound asleep for the final show (which technically is happening right now, being Sunday evening for me) so don't know if he said this or not - but I hope he did. And then a review of TXT. If you weren't able to watch live, it's on Hulu in the states, but anywhere else, you can watch the full performance on YouTube (i took my computer, via VPN, to Canada). The replay doesn't seem to be available on Weverse -who denied me access anyway. (And we didn't think they'd introduced the band members but it turns out they did - read the article.) https://www.nme.com/reviews/tomorrow-x-together-lollapalooza-2023-live-review-3478932

OK - all I have are twitter post that I don;'t think are on this long thread. I'll watch the replays but will cry anyway. And - even though RM says his hair is short because of the heat and not the military, he also says this is th elast time he'll be singing live for some time. FYI: he said the same thing at Festa. And the full RM performance was on Twitter -

There are no tickets available for TXT so sold out (though I read that re-sale tickets are available). I won't be awake for Agust D tonight (starts at 1am my time....) but already getting emotional about it. I think we're all sure that RM will appear - and maybe one of the Cyphers - but what could Tae sing with Yoongi? He actually can rap and has done so, though not on a recording. He could do a Cypher, too - but I don't know how the logistics of having both Namjoon and Tae appear (at the same time?). I just know there will be tears. Yoongi's lower lip will quiver. I wonder if he'll do a Live after. I doubt it as I imagine there will be some private deal he does, maybe with some members, maybe on his own. He's not the wild bunny JK is... It's going to be an emotional concert.

Ah, one new thing I can add here.....

It is such a drag living in yesterday when today has already happened in Seoul - I watched Jimin's stuff on Twitter (what a way to start the morning) and can't wait to watch the whole show. I need to know, from someone who has watched both shows or has the info from on line, if the playlist is the same both nights....I may not be able to record full concerts but don't want to miss anything (and still have to get up for the 3am replay of the first show.....damn Weverse.....). Namjoon back from Japan. Cypher Pt something. But will Tae be there? He has to at least be there. He could give us something brand new. Or not. (And still have the teeny tiny hope that the army duo will be able to attend...) I expect the last concert to be longer than the others and have more surprises. And more tears. Wait, that might be me with the "more tears". Amy must be in a nearly complete state of exhausted bliss.

JK said he had to go to the hospital. Maybe that's the equivalent of an urgent care center. Yet, I, too, think he'll at least be at Yoongi's concert and maybe perform. Who knows what might be shown during these shows. Since we never really had confirmation that Hobi took his leave immediately after his 100 days was up, maybe he will appear (and they can duet "Huh"). I feel chastised. My comments about the future and OT7 and what I thought and what I want will, henceforth, be extremely limited. I will keep my desires and my understandings and my hopes to myself.
-
I don't know why it is that he is not their performance director anymore (okay, they aren't performing at present, but some of them are...). He is right, though. The last ten years was his youth, too, and I think he deserves an amazing amount of credit for the success. He corralled in their energy and perfectionism and gave them every they needed to excel. And - I know the members really didn't know what was coming and how they'd really feel - but the feelings and plans stated at Festa 2022 were genuine. Yes - JK trusts his guts and, in reality, has never really had to make any sort of real adult decision on his own. But I know they still all have group chats and keep in touch and JK does respect and admire his older hyungs. I just wonder if any one has pointed out how his "gut" feelings and decisions impact the others and the overall future of OT7. I'm going to have to believe they will eventually come around and be okay -but it's sad that they haven't stuck to the original plan. Sad for Jin and Hobi. Sad for ARMY. Solo stans for some of the members can be happy, but everyone misses OT7, even the members. JK may be trying be taken seriously as an adult, but he is immature (not his fault...) in his decision making. Chapter Two. Anxious for when that will be.

Yeah - the military has them for 18 months. And if they had followed what they initially said they would do, RM would have enlisted months ago, and Jimin would be enlisting about now (since his album came out at the end of March). The understanding seemed to be that each member would do a solo project and then enlist after the promotion period for that project. Two months seems about right as they have been doing a 2-3 month gap between solo debuts. So RM and Jimin are already showing that they aren't following that (I wouldn't call it "breaking their word" because there was no promise and they are artists....). Truly, they seem to engage with ARMY right before or during a promotion and hardly at all at any other time. I believe they have enjoyed the break from the constant work schedule they had for nine years (yes, they had their 10 yr anniversary but have done only a couple of things together in that 10th year) and i understand that. I guess that after what seemed like a pretty steady dialogue with ARMY, they no longer tell us what's going on or what plans are being discussed (let alone the military enlistment dates..). If Bang doesn't think they will re-sign a contract by 2025, he'll be selling stock. (And would be a fool to announce it -) If he knows they will, then it's a "buy stock" situation. Hybe will benefit financially every single day until then. I feel certain they will not go to another agency. Just what they sign up for is the open question. And it is f-ing frustrating. All imply when on Yoongi's show that they want to be together but I don't actually take as truth anything they say anymore, except Jin. i'll wait.

I really am looking forward to Tae's album - but do wonder why he didn't stick with PDogg or SloRabbit and/or Yoongi to produce his stuff. All three know him and his abilities and range and likes very well. I guess branching out is good, but not utilizing one of those three excellent producers is a question for me. So - with Yoongi's last three appearances this weekend (and hope that other members show up, maybe even perform with him), i am predicting (again - yes, I keep doing this) that he and RM and maybe Jimin will announce their enlistment soon after. Sure, a JK album would be great - but I am seemingly obsessed with how enlistment dates impact any comeback. Jin said he misses performing. That was, at least initially, what he missed most about being in the military. I have no reason to think that has changed. For him or for Hobi, They all LOVE performing (example: JK NOT leaving Suchwita even after Yoongi went home, just so he could perform), but even if the five still out go in by October, it would to be mid-May 2025 at the earliest they'd even be able to practice together. And we know it'll be later than that, meaning it will be 3 years between performances for Jin. Hobi had a couple of music shows after On the Street came out, but he'll be suffering the same fate. Are they expected to resume solo projects upon release from the military? It just seems profoundly sad that Jin would have to wait three + years between performances and seeing ARMY. (and that makes me hope he does join up with Coldplay for a few concerts..). Also - anyone have a clue what is the status of their contract with Hybe? I don';t for a minute believe that they'd go to a different agency, and they will certainly have a lot of say as to the provisions and requirements of any contract, but I wonder how that's being worked out...

Such a collision of fandoms. Yuzu's kick looks higher than all - except Hobi and Jimin do kick pretty high. It would now be time for Yuzu to incorporate an entire BTS song into his future shows (and take the show in the road, please!)
-
Since they are broadcasting it on YouTube, I would guess that a replay will also be available on YouTube, if not Weverse. It's a good time for me - it's the 3AM Yoongi show I have a problem with.... Are the VMA's the one where fans vote for the winners? If so, I sure hope that JK is in a different category than TXT, but I suspect that MV's aren't divided up by solo versus group...

Every little while, Weverse does post a notice stating that they are (and continue to) cancel and block those that are "inappropriate" in the comments during Lives/. And I think it is moderators at Weverse who are pulling them off in real time. I think that's one of the reasons that the company likes to be notified about lives (remembering JK getting in a little trouble for just doing a live a number of months ago when he clearly states he hadn't cleared it with the company. What is the matter with negative people and haters? If you don't like all members of BTS, just don't watch.
-
I think that's Hobi!!!! Also doubt we'll see any more like these - clearly the people who posted them were violating the rules.

I've only seen part of Suchwita (as we had a massive microburst storm last night and I am still recovering - lost a 10-12 ft tall cactus and many large branches on my giant mesquite - and so much to clean up). It was on YouTube when I turned my computer on and at the part where he's talking about more songs and a mini-album but no actual songs yet. And December - I was actually a little disturbed by that (and haven't watched all of it so I don't know what he's said about all of them being better as a group than as solos - as have all the others) because it's as if he's trying to embark on a solo career without thought to the fact he has to enlist by a certain date for them to have a half chance of a 2025 comeback. He seems both over confident right a long side of feeling like he has no confidence (until he's in front of ARMY and singing). All of them know that the reason they are being so well received as solo performers is because they are BTS. Yes - the music is great and the performances, too - but it's BTS that got them here and got them ARMY. Even Yoongi, during his Agust-D concerts is smiling and so happy when he sings Life Goes On and the full BTS fan chant starts up. Worrying because I'm stressed today....SO stressed.

The more I think about JK and Seven and the fact that there is a physical CD coming out (where is it? It's supposed to have shipped!) and now all the talk of Tae's solo promotion being in September, I am wondering if there really is an entire album of JK's actually coming out. It reminds me a little but of RM working on music since Indigo, but not firming up anything specific. They could all be writing and saving and putting things out there after they get back from the military. I have such mixed feelings, knowing how I'll miss each one but anxious to have them all back together. If Tae's stuff is coming out in 5 or 6 weeks, no way JK would be releasing something in the interim. Or RM. And they do plan on being back for 2025, so the military looms for the five still not in. We sort of believe that Jimin was waiting for JK to have his solo project out and the two of them enlisting either at the same time or roughly the same time. Yoongi and RM, I think, must be thinking of a time after this last set of three Agust D concerts. If we are to believe that they have all been serious about being OT7 in 2025, then they all must leave and come back (). I was surprised that RM didn't enlist about the same time Hobi did so am very bad at guessing these things, and maybe he stayed back to help the younger ones launch, but he and Jimin; soon Yoongi and likely JK, have done their solo promotions. (Remembering that JK also had Dreamers...). They can't want to leave what they have going but they also know they must. God, what an awful quandary.

I don't have Disney, so trying to watch the little clips of TXT's documentary. This is cute, and so Hobi of Hobi.
-
Splitting the cost is the only way I'll go for the 3-day ---- but I do want those extras (I have no idea why.....). How many of us plan on watching? (Not counting Amy - unless she might want to watch the days she doesn't have a ticket for....)
-
It doesn't matter whether I can afford it or not, or if I have the time, unless and until Weverse deems me something other than "missed" (ie: "loser"), I won't be able to see anything.

Second week as #1 It bothers me that the nurse got off so easily. I don't know what the proper punishment would be, but losing her nursing license might have sent a lesson. And Amy - who doesn't "miss" and gets to go to all the concerts. So jealous. I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the money to watch the streams, and which ones - since 3 in the morning is not a good time for me. Part of me feels that I've spent so much on streaming and that I should be able to see anything special from the concerts (like other members showing up and/or performing) on YouTube or Daily Motion. That's me being angry at Hybe. At least the Lollapalooza livestream is free for TXT. Don't do the Daydream Believers unless you feel it necessary. Nothing you haven't seen before and most of it is about other artists, not our guys. Still hoping to see a post with a nice shot of Hobi in it while he's on leave. And thinking that if a trainee army group just finished their 6 week training, that Jin would also be able to take a couple of days off. Too much to hope for.

Hybe has been putting up tweets and Insta posts requesting translators for Lives in real time. No knowing just how many languages they have translators for, but I think, as with most translations, we need to see multiple translations to really get a good idea of what's said. And since I missed most of it - did he mention seeing Hobi at all? Tae can't throw out anything now - it's clear the recording has been completed. Probably in the ":clean-up" stage and photos and maybe some tweeking - but set.
