  1. Silly me, without seeing the info about the massive Jack Harlow necklace, thought it was Virginia...truly the two states have similar outlines. And I strongly suspect he didn't give that to JK, but loaned it.... This pic from the Hobi grad ceremony tweet (scroll down - it won't let me post the photo I refer to -) shows the scary dance instructor Hobi face (which leads me to believe he employs this with his trainees regularly).
  2. Hobi is present in my head when I sleep - but not haunting. I wonder where that pic was taken. There are quite a few people in the background with sneakers on. I wonder if that's some sort of visiting room at the base.
  3. I did see a tweet that pointed out that if they are all in by Dec 15 (and I somehow doubt they will be - just announce that they are on their way....), they will all be out for FESTA 2025. And that would be awesome.
  4. And JK with a message for ARMY (his English is getting better but I do wonder how much is memorization and how much he understands.) He is in such cutie bunny mode.
  5. Wow - that was a quick trip. Chuseok starts Thursday and maybe he wanted to be home for that (and then the promotion of his new single.... busy boy.)
  6. OK- I didn't need to say the silly silver deals on the unitard were disugting - just over the top. And I guess I should be happy her ass wasn't hanging out. The drummer - and the Red Hot Chili Peppers..... yes. And David Stewart(for 3-D) is the principal guy behind Dynamite...
  7. Well, I missed it live but watched his Live and then went back to YouTube and scrolled it back to the start of his part. Yup - Bunny JK there tonight. I love that ARMY was there for him, in spite of the rain (it's the remnants of a cyclone roaring up the east coast-). And glad that ARMY all left, en masse, when he was done. I was so surprised they didn't hold on to him until later - it's actually still on and 33K people watching. Also, have to saw I think Latto was vile. And JK didn't even give her a hand shake (or a hug, thank god). I have to think the Korean audience was stunned. Edit: women in music here in the states, like Latto, for instance, make me embarrassed to be an American. So, she had clothes on - but disgusting.)
  8. I don't think she'll join him as she wasn't there for the rehearsals. But I guess she still might. Looking at the weather, I just want JK to finish well and go back to his room and take a long hot bath. No getting sick. I like this-
  9. Well, the board had to vote on this one - smart move. Just for signing the new contract, each member will be receiving about $15million dollars. Two tweets about it - and , yes having it written that they are committed to each other because they are more than just family. They are BTS. (I loved that someone, in one of the threads, pointed out that, in spite of how much money they actually have, as soon as Run BTS starts shooting again, JK will sell someone out for a $5 coupon. And I know it's true...) Of course, there is the money. But I believe they are genuinely what they say they are. It's enough to make me cry.
  10. Last to comment on this (was busy this morning....) but I am SO relieved that OT7 will be all together in 2025. I suspect that any new contract will allow for some solo activity, if that's what they want, but the company want to support them in any way, so maybe? I was worried for all sorts of reasons but JK's amazing rise in global status and so much written about his prospects as a solo artist (and lots written about how he should) made the worry rise, except he just said in a recent interview about how much he misses performing as a group. I'm sure he's relishing his solo success but also totally sincere when he expresses his desire to be part of BTS. (sorry you didn't get the fansign @amylance1215 but I am sure that means your luck will be back for more important things...) For donations: the first tween suggests going directly to Unicef. All say to use your own country name so that may help with congestion. And the second tweet is the reminder of how to make sure BTS/ARMY gets acknowledged (and I have no doubt that global ARMY will more than match the BigHit donation. I bet we match it many times over...)
  11. "Sensitive contenT...." Don't we have a separate private thread for this sort of provocative content? I don't see them, but I hope Tannie had earplugs in.
  12. So you can see more Tae skin - And just a cute post -
  13. I still have a trial offer from Pandora that I haven't activated that was emailed to me from TXT. I wonder if I should activate it and see if they are doing deletions for all Hybe artists - and will maybe create a playlist that has TXT and BTS (and that is my usual thing anyway). Worth checking into. Very bad on Pandora's part - why should any ARMY pay for a premium service if their playlists are getting deleted? And I just received my Layover copy. The packaging is really nice. Tae (or whoever) really did a nice job with the inclusions in the boxx.
  14. I like how he is flanked by his security people. No one would be able to touch him. Tae interview:
  15. It's likely that Jin and definitely Hobi have been writing or recording things on their phones. They could even be sending them back to the "mother ship" to work on in earnest when they are finished with the military. Jin knows that writing about his emotions is a healthy outlet for him. And music is life to Hobi. There's no way he hasn't written something in five months. They are kept very busy but do have free time. I hadn't really thought much about it and the chances of having work archived at Hybe until the recent realization that Yoongi may well have the studio available to him during his enlistment time. (Now I am manifesting that he is stationed in Seoul, because I suppose they can send those "civil" guys elsewhere, but it would be nothing but purposeful cruelty to do that to him.
  16. A silver lining for this alternate service for Yoongi just occurred to me. As this is the "type" of service that the sons of many government officials or sons of super rich Koreans get, even if three months longer, offers a level of freedom. He can, in fact, go home after his "shift", be it a day or night one. And he won't be under observation 24/7. It sounds like an almost "typical" 9-5 five day a week job. He will be able to continue writing music. And will probably be able to go to his studio at Hybe on his days off. He should also have more phone freedom and will be able to keep in touch with the other members (and should be able to still see the ones who haven't enlisted yet, at least in the confines of his home or Hybe). In addition, when Jin is out and then Hobi, he'll be able to work with them on future OT7 stuff. He won't be able to share anything he's working on with us, but that doesn't mean he won't be creating. I feel better believing that he will be able to work on his music, because I think that if that was kept from him, it would really make him miserable.
  17. Yoongi still has to do basic training - does that mean he shows up at a camp on Friday? Snd I don't really have a clue what is meant by "civil service". Does he get to live at home? Does he show up at an office or post and head out for civil unrest or help when there is a disaster? They can't use him for traffic or crowd control because he attracts his own crowd. Time to read up on what is involved. His hair looks great yet I fear, since he has to do basic training, it'll still be shaved off. But maybe he can have some hair while he's serving. Of course, I missed the love as I was asleep so couldn't say a proper goodbye. I don't like this at all.....
  18. What does this mean for his time serving? Didn't we used to think that not having to do regular military meant longer time in....I am confused. Edit: I don't understand why they think he isn't fit for regular service. He had his shoulder surgery. Did they not see his dancing in Busan?
  19. He can leave the 22nd and still be in NYC on the 22nd.
  20. Loving this: I have an auto-translate on my computer and when I click this I get it in English. Makes me proud to be ARMY - https://n.news.naver.com/entertain/article/469/0000760946 (the original first bit of the twitter thread -
  21. It seems to me that security for the members is pretty in control in Seoul, both Incheon and Gimpo. It's really foreign cites where the security has seemed to be a little lax and scary. I guess I should just be grateful I have a "life" and wouldn't want to hang out at the airport for hours hoping to catch a glimpse of someone I'm a fan of. It's interesting that so many ARMY are completely respectful of the members when they are out and about in foreign cities, not wanting to "betray" a member's location. Or respecting their desire to not be stalked and have photos taken. But the airport arrival and departures are attended (shall we say swarmed?) by an element of ARMY not ascribing to that code of conduct.
  22. And Incheon is not next door to anything - it takes time and effort to get out there. I hate that they can't arrive and depart with a level of peace. And how do they know the timing on these Nayway? Someone in NY letting the insane people know he's left on a certain flight? Someone at Hybe leaking travel info? Anyway - yes, another quick turn around. Only a young person could handle that level of jet lag whiplash. But I think it does mean that this is the week Yoongi will leave. Though it would be grand for him to be able to slink off with not hoopla, I hope we get a photo of OT7 sending him off.
