He had changed into a nice black shirt for the after party - and I like that look better than what he wore earlier in the day. I would bet on his having a stylist and someone doing make-up for the actual fashion photoshoot and I don't think he had make-up on in Milan. If he did, it was very light. He doesn't need it to look delicious but he's always done up for fashion shoots. I read that ROK is reviewing JK's documentary so it's likely it will show up, in time, on a streaming service or maybe a VOD on Weverse (like during some lull in promotion for Jin and/or Hobi unless there's something being held back that was shot before the others had to show up for the military. I don't recall any "language" anywhere in the film so it should get a reasonable rating. The film is not linear. I'm not sure it's possible to nail down exact times when any of it was shot, except for the known public appearances. And the final bit (no spoilers) was clearly shot after Are You Sure? wrapped. It's only a touch more than three weeks before Hobi is back. Would any promotion for Jin's release come before that or will there be a wait? Between any content produced by Jin and then Hobi, there is 8 months before the four get out (and then Yoongi) and that's a lot of time to fill. I'd guess JK's film is only one of several things that will be released during that time.

I think he's referring to what his next release will be. In his Chuseok letter, I think of the pigeons as the equivalent of nervous butterflies. And the blue heart? Maybe Blue Side, 2? He's sung things with IU before, though not recorded, so maybe he's got a collab ready. The fact that it was him who stayed after the show was over (there is video of Tae leaving the venue) and then was in what I presume is her dressing room makes me believe that it's a collab. Or a MV? They are both the same age and there is the teeny tiny possibility of something romantic? (I seriously doubt that, though....)

So - messages I sent myself on my phone were not received ON MY PHONE from where they were sent for more than an hour and a half. I am in some sort of tech hell. Example: my electric toothbrush randomly turns itself on. Sometimes just vibrating or humming, Loud enough to wake a person up. WTH? He met up with Hobi. For some reason, nothing I send to my email from Twitter is sending - Someone suggested on one of the posts I can't seem tto sen to myself that Chris Martin, who we know is close to Jin, did ask Dakota to make sure she touched based with Jin, and the interaction is so sweet. And I went to Jungkook's documentary late yesterday afternoon. Must see stuff. The time line is definitely not linear and trying to fit in when he and Jimin went (after the GMA rained out show) on their first trip and then the timing of the Jeju trip is tricky. No spoilers, as everyone else has said - but know that at the end there is a QR code to scan for a little extra. It does seem like such an utter shame and sadness that JK, and all the members - after amazing solo outings - had to disappear from their careers. JK, because he did all the Golden promo closest to enlistment, is a sad example of that. Absolutely killing it and, boom, gone for 18 months....

And no one is as easily freaked out by insects or unknowns around a dark corner... Some Jin praise (and he's already on his way back to Korea....)

I’m sure he’s looking forward to having Hobi back. And, of course, he’ll rope him into Run Jin, though I wonder how many more of those there will be with his upcoming schedule of promotions. Hobi will be hard pressed to do the number of activities Jin has packed into his post-military time. He doesn’t seem to fit in as easily (or maybe comfortably) with doing stuff like the lost island trip. His team and the creatives at HYBE must have activities planned for him. How many with Jin? Hobi seems more like someone who would want to get right back to work. Only weeks away! Will all the members greet Hobi? Will he and Jin do some Lives together? Can’t quite see a collaboration with just the two of them but who knows. Having another member back will almost make the absence of the others seem more profound.

Jin is live - and obviously tieed. Flying back to Korea later today (Saturday). Obvioulsy not translatted yett so a few comments before he gor heavily into playing the game. His jammies are the BTS-Minion collab. And that's all I have for now.

I don't like this program much at all. Or the shirt. Put that man in black! I just checked and it's reported that he has finished at university so he should be able to leave Korea to train. I think Ghislain for jumps, of course, and no one telegraphs his axel like Jun does (still!) and maybe Stephane. Look what he did for Shoma. There's always TCC but I don't see him going back there. He has not had consistent, quality coaching in years. Shaelynn did the choreo but who chose that music? Tomorrow is his birthday. 23.

Chris is now excited about my last suggestion of The Rainbow Connection from the Muppet Movie, and we do have history with that. No decisions yet. A multiple of posts, and it certainly feels like Gucci was listening to me when I said I like him in black. Lots of places to look for Jin Milan info and a sttory about Hobi. I thought Yet to Come, too, with the positive message about the past and future. And the fact that he's starting his chapter two (guess I am, too.....)

He looks great, of course. Love the all black look best. The appearance today - to me - seemed like the top and pants don't really go together color-wise, but that's me. What do I know about high fashion? Appearing with Dakota Johnson is a connection to Coldplay. And no photos with Hanni. (good - and all those fans for Jin, and only Jin.0 My one and only issue with the Fred photos is that there is SO much jewelry and not enough Jin. Question to all, semi-unrelated: I am trying to pick a song, or 90-120 seconds of a song for the mother-son dance at Chris' wedding (that I am still anything but thrilled about). I would love something BTS or one of the members, but feel that some English lyrics would be a good idea. Which song? Which 90-120 seconds? It shouldn't be super high tempo but okay for it to not be sllooooowww. Something with love and care and support in it, but not in a boy-girl specific way. I like Lights but it's in Japanese and no English at all, but does show love and support. I may just end up with In my Life, the Beatles, but it's used a lot. Just putting it out there.....

Awwww - breaks my heart for him. He looks tired, maybe low energy. Hope the rest of the season is all up from this. I am always amazed that any skater can come back from a popped jump and just be right back into the program. And he's still the best looking skater on the senior circuit.

Hmmmm - as if it's tough to guess who the guest star will be. But April. Not March when I might be able to go? I guess the Gucci show itself is tomorrow but crowds already jamming traffic.

I'd have lined up, too...great stuff. So I presume the documentary is worth $30 to see?

The man really wants to get back to his life. I saw a Korea Dispatch post of Hanni at Incheon at roughly the same time as Jin but nothing of them together and she didn't get the same reception at all (of course). Love that Jin's hair is finally growing in... Waiting to see the arrival photos. Two posts - one instructional, I guess. The first one makes me laugh as we've always felt for the cameraman having to chase JK around during RunBTS episodes -

He'd be an excellent source of career advice but I think that HYBE may request that he not get involved - unless she approaches him with a legitimate question. He is bound to be restrained in any case. He's not going to want to get into the weeds on the whole MHJ fiasco or say anything negative about HYBE (that he helped build and still owns a piece of). She's nearly 20. She will not have the pressure of MHJ or other NJ members with her, though her security detail will be there. If she's smart and can get any sort of conversation going with Jin, she would be well advised to ask him who he thinks are good managers at HYBE. Is it a good idea to breach your contract? NO. And if she would delve into anything regarding MHJ and her ouster from Ador, he would probably tell her he cannot advise her on any of that. It's going to be awkward, regardless. They'll probably be at the same hotel, but Jin will have his own transportation and his own security detail (two guys? maybe more - did he have two or three for the Olympics?) And he's 11 years older and a fairly strict adherent to the whole Korean age deference culture. She isn't Korean and may not understand that, but, in ordinary circumstances, she'd ask someone older to introduce her to Jin. My heart to Jin. He's polite and a gentleman and diplomatic. And we won't hear a word about it.

Taken on Chuseok which means no one in his unit got time off to visit family for the holiday. And one comment points out that the current SK president never served in the military. I am not surprised that he is avoiding actual "military" activities and choosing 1)music and 2) a way to help others. Obviously, there would be no conscientious objector status he would try for. I read that it is available but it's Jehovahs Witnesses and such who apply - and they are not treated nicely. Of course, he, and the other members have known since they were little that they would have to serve but I can't imagine that most of them were looking forward to it. I think he did say that he was looking forward to the chance to "grow up and become a grown man" during his military service or something to that effect. But it's pretty clear that he is not happy to be there and probably is counting the days until he is free. (me, too -) Has anyone bought, with "jelly", access to concert films? I want to go see JK's documentary but annoyed that it costs, with tax, over $30 and it's not even with any special sound system.

I guess that one can be considered a Chuseok message from Mang. This is from their online concert 3 1/2 years ago, one year after we all went into lock down and they still couldn't perform in public. Miss the 7.

SO over! I've seen some headlines from some k-media but not clicking on stories suggesting that HYBE is publicly criticizing JK. No way that would be true - and I'm still convinced that JK would never have posted any comments about anyone. Totally not allowed in their contract, for one thing, and he just doesn't post anything controversial. Some other posts (and hoping for some possible additional Chuseok comments - maybe Hobi - as the other four are more silent): Sorry for the "language" in the tweet, but a fun bit from Busan -

I'm back!!!! And I, too, think Bam/JK was hacked. It wouldn't be out of line for him to believe that "artists" should be left out of the chaos, but I don't believe he's suddenly going to against all known BTS protocol and post any comment on ongoing problems happening at Hybe or any of the artists. If he was ever going to say/post something supportive for any artist, it would have been for Yoongi. He doesn't even publicly wish Happy Birthday to other members. The best thing (if there is such a thing) about all of this has been the silence on all things Yoongi. MHJ, I truly believe, is working behind the scenes to continually get bad press for HYBE and BTS. Neuron finally over 100M streams and that makes me feel happy for Hobi (home in 31 Korean days!)

Why should they be generous to the girls? It would be a bad precedent. Don't like the terms of your contract? Break it. It's not that Hybe has so much invested in NJ, but they certainly have the rights to their music and, probably, a substantial amount of any income. Hybe is a business and I expect them to be more into profit than "kindness' - or, in this case, rewarding a breach of contract. I no longer feel sorry for the girls. Stupid or mislead. MHJ has stolen their careers. Seems like Hobi already has music or collabs in his pipeline and will be able to produce new music relatively quickly after his discharge, though he is such a perfectionist, it might take a little while for him to polish anything.
