I guess that one can be considered a Chuseok message from Mang. This is from their online concert 3 1/2 years ago, one year after we all went into lock down and they still couldn't perform in public. Miss the 7.

SO over! I've seen some headlines from some k-media but not clicking on stories suggesting that HYBE is publicly criticizing JK. No way that would be true - and I'm still convinced that JK would never have posted any comments about anyone. Totally not allowed in their contract, for one thing, and he just doesn't post anything controversial. Some other posts (and hoping for some possible additional Chuseok comments - maybe Hobi - as the other four are more silent): Sorry for the "language" in the tweet, but a fun bit from Busan -
-
I'm back!!!! And I, too, think Bam/JK was hacked. It wouldn't be out of line for him to believe that "artists" should be left out of the chaos, but I don't believe he's suddenly going to against all known BTS protocol and post any comment on ongoing problems happening at Hybe or any of the artists. If he was ever going to say/post something supportive for any artist, it would have been for Yoongi. He doesn't even publicly wish Happy Birthday to other members. The best thing (if there is such a thing) about all of this has been the silence on all things Yoongi. MHJ, I truly believe, is working behind the scenes to continually get bad press for HYBE and BTS. Neuron finally over 100M streams and that makes me feel happy for Hobi (home in 31 Korean days!)

Why should they be generous to the girls? It would be a bad precedent. Don't like the terms of your contract? Break it. It's not that Hybe has so much invested in NJ, but they certainly have the rights to their music and, probably, a substantial amount of any income. Hybe is a business and I expect them to be more into profit than "kindness' - or, in this case, rewarding a breach of contract. I no longer feel sorry for the girls. Stupid or mislead. MHJ has stolen their careers. Seems like Hobi already has music or collabs in his pipeline and will be able to produce new music relatively quickly after his discharge, though he is such a perfectionist, it might take a little while for him to polish anything.

Oh, something else RM related -

I'll look for another translation on Twitter but have been busy walking and hiking and eating ice cream at my sister's (who believes I am a little overboard about BTS). Today we went to two beaches! NJ, because they are attached to Hybe, probably do not have direct access to their royalties. Hybe would. They can simply cut the girls off from any income at all until they have fully paid back what they would owe if they terminate the contract - and it sure looks like that is the direction they are heading. If MHJ cared for them even a little bit, she'd tell the girls this and encourage them to fulfill the terms of their contract. I wonder if she is encouraging them NOT to and, if so, is that a crime, too....

"What are we supposed to learn from such a company?" What should they learn? They should learn to honor their contract. They are committing career suicide. And Happy Birthday, RM!!!!! (My son was VERY impressed with Lost - the best MV he's seen in a very long time.)

As if we didn't know:

It's about time. Poor Yoongi. And BTS. I think Jin will still wait a bit before getting on Live again... and Hybe should sue that television station.
-
A long way from Soundcloud. It doesn't really look much like him, though, does it? He's earned this.

Tomorrow, when I have some time, I'll pull all the solos up and see who or what song is close to some milestone. i don't quite understand why Hobi's stuff hasn't been bigger. Or Yoongi, or RM. The maknae line has just been far more commercially successful. Their music is simply more mainstream, but not particularly better musically or artistically. Each has a niche (all 7). I do believe that they respect each other and cheer each other on; that it isn't competitive, but there has to be some element of it. Their solo work will make the whole even better.

It's the whole album that crossed 1B. And the VOD rental thing is such crap (sorry for the language if it offends). And what's with the jelly anyway. How much is 50 jellies worth? We used to be abole to buy content -In the Soop,, Bon Voyage, some concerts, though I don't remember what. It's one thing when we pay for livestream of a concert; we know it's only for the time of the concert. I feel like we've seen the concert at Wembley before but don't remember how. I would certainly give thought to purchasing, say, Burn the Stage but won't be renting it for 50 jellies for a few days. It really feels like a terrible move by Weverse. And disrespectful to to any ARMY who has been around for a few years. Agree the MHJ hire was the start. And we know she had some inside help. I don't know if she brought along other people from SM. And I feel totally voiceless and powerless to let Weverse know how we feel. I do wonder if, once all seven are back, and strong, if they will have some influence over any of this. In spite of the fact that they have been the hub of marketed merch, I still believe that they would not want ARMY being taken advantage of. I remember one of them, maybe Jin, voicing his concern over the cost of, probably, "artist designed" merch.

Re-tweeted. Bummer about being laid off, but at least you have some warning....Didn't you just move to Manchester? Was that for the job? If so, I'd be doubly angry. Two tweets : One showing support and one regarding the latest Run Jin (that was a part one....). I still want those pajamas. Jin is so generous..
-
Another post about that with some other info. (and two about Jin...I wish I could find the 24-hour stuff on regular YouTube as the X post was blurry - including about The Astronaut, now that it's over 100M view!)
-
Someone on Twitter was saying that Hybe is "intentionally" not promoting Jin activities. Is that true? How much promotion have they done for any member's solo stuff? Hers' his schedule for what's coming up and a Yeonjun comment on his Run Jin episode.

Happy Birthday, Jungkook it's the 1st in Korea. Last year, he did a Live and Jin went to his apartment, but this is from In the Soop -

They continue to soar -

Weverse is discontinuing "jelly" fan letter purchases (if you want to send more than 3 a month: they are a "jelly" each) at the end of September. Has Weverse ever stopped trying to make money from every possible source? It seems very odd to me, but maybe there has been an influx of negative letters regarding Yoongi. Watched the first episode of "Pop star academy" on Netflix, about how Katseye came about, and was turned off and appalled almost immediately by the assertion that this was from the people who "created" BTS. So insulting. Fast forwarded through to see the translations of Bang and Son comments -- not many - but won't be watching anymore. And, aside from some time playing in the swimming pool, did Are You Sure? episode 5 show, pretty much, an hour of the guys eating? I know they have bottomless appetites but even a ravenous JK must have worked up an appetite doing something. Kind of disappointed... This is cute -

Rumors. NJ girls are not in a position to terminate their contract, and if they try, it will be a super clear example of how brainwashed they are. Wow. I can understand that they would be confused and even unhappy, butt this would be career suicide. The collab is with RM!!!!!!! (I feel badly about his timing and hope the Yoongi stuff doesn't impact this...) and Jin is, evidently, going to have something with Serrafim on his new album...

Even with all the photos I've gotten screenshoots of and printed and have all over my room and house, I believe I need to get my copy of this out and spend some time with it.

Born Singer is close to 100M (99+) and N.O. is over 92M - everything else on Proof is well over 100M, so it shouldn't take long! Dynamite is 84M from hitting 2 billion - Any guesses on who she'd be collaborating with? I wouldn't think Jin, but maybe someone else prerecorded their part of a song.

Regarding the Taeil allegations: and SM released this info? The K-media wouldn't find this a far more tantalizing story than someone who drank too much, especially with tthe knowledge that drinking is a very acceptable part of the culture? I find it appalling that Yoongi is still being treated like a criminal when his actions hurt nothing and nobody. I saw a couple of links saying that Samsung was going to drop him/them but I wouldn't give the articles any clicks, but did just google it and no decision will be made right now. Samsung would be stunningly stupid to drop BTS as spokespersons. Yoongi's promotion of the phone throughout the Agust D is particularly notable. And I think that this whole incident is going to leave the spotlight. Hope. Looking forward to the latest episode of Are You Sure?. Has anyone watched all of the Lost Island with Jin shows?

The Jin Netflix show doesn't seem to be something we'll see anytime soon. I read somewhere that it's not due until 2025. I guess there is positive press on his stuff - if you do try to scroll through positive articles, itt's a little tricky, especially with Naver, as you need an account (though that's free and easy to do) https://x.com/_LunarWolfJin/status/1828668455651840087/photo/1 And maybe this story, if true, will take the media attention away from our guy, allowing some space and healing for him.

Well, more Jin content coming up!!!!! And a hint of a Hobi variety show appearance in the future. If you get Netflix when the Jin show comes out, this is the first show of any of OT7 on that platform - most are on Disney Plus and two on Amazon Prime. So much content.
-
And Jin is supposed to have his album out before then, although we haven't heard much about it. It''s now been almost 3 weeks since Yoongi had his ''troubles" and there hasn't been a peep from any of them, and no Live. I believe that it's intentional. This is, I think, a long time without any posts. Jin's last Instagram post was the day before and no promotion of the two shows he's on that have been released since then. I totally understand that he wouldn't want to go on Live and have to deal with haters or questions. It makes me angry that the negative press coverage is, in fact, impacting all the members. Sadly.
