This whole investigation is so pointless and harmful. Not just BTS but BigHit. And why would they even have tried to manipulate charts? They had already won Best Rookie, a couple of Bonsangs, and, notably, the Daesang in 2016. 2016. So why would a group who is being wildly successful and gaining popularity already, resort to something illegal, unsavory and unnecessary? They never needed to manipulate charts- especially after proving themselves the best, the winners, in all the Asian music awards, as early as 2013 ( and already getting notice in other countries - MTV European awards in 2015 and 2016.) I hope this is addressed quickly, I think that it's Hybe's policy to not even acknowledge lies and slander and false accusations until they feel it's impacting the artists.

Just for reference here: 2017 was the year Spring Day, Not Today, DNA and Mic Drop were released. This is clearly BS. I expect Bang PD to be personally involved in disputing this allegation. Why now????? Of course, MHJ - probably with the help of Lee Seonmyung. BTS will be able to withstand any bad press and speculation that comes from this while they are proved innocent. I am not happy to be missing our members on a daily basis, but I am very pleased that they are not anywhere that press or bad actors can harass them.

Can't verify the source on this but I do hope they all don't maintain shaved heads for the whole enlistment time. It seems to me that Hobi had some hair under his hat when he visited the Hope on the Street pop-up. I'd really like to see Namjoon grow his hair out when he returns.... https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C6i9XKMyaFi/?xmt=AQGzxGm-uG5XkJzhVgLHtUMTF-ZJixstiH-oiQK8MO97CA

Anyone know how to access this show? Begins Youth - I don't think we have access to it. https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C6gbsxttEEr/?xmt=AQGzxYGW9oUhZXRQ-NP09oqu0UuJ8SD9_l7Ba3Xeswi-Pg

I wonder how long ago this was. A while, based on hair. And that chair looks insanely comfortable ( and I don't think it looks like the one in his studio). And it really is an odd, yet clearly successful, method of creating a group to have them live together for years - and hope that they return that belief and expense with success when they debut. I don't know if Bang has had his hand in following this same formula with anyone else at the moment, or with the girl groups. The girls seem almost too young to be staying in an apartment together for a long, long time with no adult.

Yeonjun has the longest tenure at BigHit but not too much longer than Soobin. I'm trying to figure out when the decision was made for the five to be TXT. It almost seems that the final three were chosen to be in TXT, unlike the parade of trainees tested for BTS. Of course, all the people had BigHit had more experience by 2016 and 2017, but it's never been clear to me if there were other guys who were part of the lineup before being replaced. And Soobin. They all have their charms but he is not so much beautiful as just really, really handsome.
-
I'd guess designers would go with Yeonjun because he is the absolute skinniest. He does look fine. I'd have never pegged him for the best looking of TXT, but the stylist brought out all the best.

I love this person's YouTube channel, though I don't check it everyday. It pops up, tot watch, when I just play Dynamite (and i do that once a day, now, hoping to help it to 2B views -). She says what we think, and I like that.
-
I don't know how much of all the turmoil our members have been exposed to, but I don't think they'd go for this. And aren't we a kind of cult anyway? Not them - us. Wearing purple anything. Fan chants. The Begins Youth show - isn't that available on larger streaming platforms? And congrats to Hobi!!!

Indeed - that and corporate fraud (the "breach of trust"). I anticipate Hybe filing criminal charges against her as soon as they have her ousted from Ador, which is probably foremost in the freak out of her attorneys during her insane press conference. They (and Korea) take these crimes really seriously and won't be influenced by her pathetic public appeal. I sure hope the five girls of NJ are getting some therapy - I bet MHJ, seeing the writing on the wall, isn't taking care of their needs while so self-absorbed.
-
There is only her and two other possible people on her side - Hybe owns 80% of Ador and don't even need anyone else to oust her. Haven't heard or read anything regarding how this will impact NJ. Hybe has stated that they'll look after the interests of NJ - and it really seems that MHJ hasn't done anything but NJ. That said, they will want to promote NJ so they can recoup what they'll have paid out. I wonder what the stock percentages looked like before last March which is when she bought her shares.
-
From what I've read, this is pretty accurate, especially regarding the amount of money she wants. She'd be wise to take what she is offered and leave quietly as I imagine that Hybe does, in fact, have evidence of criminal activity. They are not shy about going after slanderers and that sort of thing is taken seriously in Korea. Her lawyers must be going nuts.
-
Getting so ugly and ridiculous. It doesn't take a lot to know these allegations could not be true. Their official debut in 2013. Jimin and Tae would not have finished high school yet. Jin was already in college, Konkuk University, when he started as a trainee. I know legal proceedings take time, but I really hope Hybe can get MHJ out of there before Jin comes back - in 43 days. Probably can't happen that fast. I read that there has already been a court hearing about the shareholders meeting but that it will be four or five weeks before a decision would be announced. She wants money. They shouldn't give it to her - but I don't know how the law works in Korea. Maybe she'll have a meltdown (another meltdown?) and quit.
-
This makes me wonder when he shot any of the MV's. Will he have a full head of hair? I know that Jin actually had a wig on for The Astronaut. Somehow, I don't think Namjoon going that route, but we'll see -
-
This makes me wonder, anew, aboutt just where all these awards are located. https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C6RztvXSkMQ/?xmt=AQGzl2SS1cb7Klu9ypIWilbnFH4QkFyTAqf0N6sycBYCuA

I am glad Hybe is aggressively going after the slanderers. (and saw the notice all over Twitter this morning -). The blinks are being bored... but typically nasty. They aren't specific in their notice but they say "groups" and individuals. Organized. They almost never actually pin point an individual that they are trying too go after criminally (except when the stalker got into Tae's building). I wonder what laws are present in Korea that will allow them to target those who target BTS. And happy that Namjoon has a good director, especially after the job that was done on Yoongi's concert film. 45 days until Jin is back....

More thoughts on the MHJ melt-down press conference: She is overpaid and, it seems, all Hybe had initiated was an audit and wanted her company computer back. There may have been some rumors floating around but the world didn't know, nor did the NJ fans. If she didn't feel reasonably certain she was going to have criminal charges against her, she'd have not called for that press conference where her main goal seemed to be to turn herself into a victim of the evil Hybe - which alone demonstrates her desire to harm Hybe. No one has said she was about to be fired or that NJ would be taken away from her management. She has now made it impossible for there to be a reconciliation with Hybe ( and I bet her lawyers knew that -). Hybe has been pretty restrained in their public response to her vicious, self-serving attack. I think that the k-netz taking her side are likely young and not aware of what "breach of trust" actually encompasses. As I wrote yesterday - it's the same as what most of the world calls corporate fraud and it's a big deal.
-
If we want to talk about stealing concepts - the new NJ MV is so like TXT, especially early TXT, MV's. Except it's girls. The explanation of the press conference was very illuminating. MHJ is clearly a master or manipulation. I am surprised that more news about it don't point out that she never addresses the core issues. And she is solely responsible for the tensions now existing between fan groups. (I do not agree with her saying that Bang is in anyway a bad guy because he made our guys practice, practice, practice. That was what all idol groups would have to do and BTS members, and as a group, were extraordinarily self-motivated.) I think the upper management of Hybe will have already seen the sneaky tactics she is using and will make an effort to have a board meeting (I understand this will take up to two months) and oust her. They have already filed a criminal complaint. The release of RM's new album was likely set some time ago. Hybe is seeming to release new content every month or two. Fri(end)s was released mid-March. Hope in the Box was released a couple of months ago, though not here until a bit later than that. D-Day concert movie released a few weeks ago. Jimin's Close to You at the end of December. Jin will be back the second week of June. A steady release of new content for ARMY was clearly planned well in advance. RM's album just fits this scheme.... They have been relatively good to not have any overlap with any TXT releases, though there have been some close ones. So, my feel is that the NJ release is a MHJ maneuver to discredit Hybe and still try to diminish the value of Ador, even though it is clearly to a different market. She has, since 2019, created one, ONE, group and NJs are her only group. She is well paid. Overpaid, I'd say, so she shouldn't be playing the gender card. And @Whoopiewoop - that is SO sweet that you were there for that shy ARMY to make contact. Finding another ARMY in the wild is so fun. It's pretty common to see BTS or BT21 merch on people walking around in Seoul, but not anywhere else.
-
I feel sorry for those girls - Hybe wants to protect them, (and they are actually Hybe property). They really invested a lot of $$ into Ador. I have a feeling there was a whistleblower who told Hybe about her plans....
-
Totally agree on your perception of MHJ. They are NOT her girls. I didn;t know about the SHINEE thing - but know that our guys had to swim in t-shirts and have little emojis placed over exposed nipples, even a few years ago. It's only been in the "New Chapter" and a major boost in modeling contracts that we've seen chests -

She's alive! Great to see you back. I just watched an Ariring News piece on this - the term "breach of trust" is not used in most countries. It translates to "corporate fraud". I guess the penalties are very stiff, but it would take a couple of years to get through the court system. Also read that, really, the concept of NJ belongs to Hybe and not MHJ personally. Hybe is the one who funded the creation of NJ. The lawyer on this program was a little strange, and said he isn't a K-pop expert but feels that most of the small girl groups are all pretty similar. Truly, most K-pop groups, male and female, are not too unlike the other groups. Trying to have a "concept" that is unique has to be difficult. BTS really created something that was unlike any previous group because they were allowed to have so much input into the music, even from early on. It wouldn't be a bad idea for Hybe to slow down all the subsidiary creation. (good to have you back, @amylance1215)

Love this:
-
Hybe has 80% so it wouldn't take much to get her fired. I'm sure they'd prefer she quit and she's already done so much damage to the "brand". I think she needs to check herself into a mental hospital.
-
Why can't they flat out fire her, based on her documented treachery? Surely there are some Hybe people who she had tapped to go with her who can now, in order to save any possibility of working in the industry again, give evidence of her plans. This is going to cause more than just her to lose their jobs - and I have to believe that none of those who were critical in the early years of BTS, like PDogg or SloRabbit or Son Sung Deuk, who were involved in any of this. There were only so many employees in 2012, 2013, and I am sure they are as loyal as loyal can be. Also, none of the members will refer to this horror. Staying above the fray seems to be what most of the hierarchy will continue to do. I do feel sorry for the girls, though, and am glad that Hybe will do what they can to protect them. I really haven't a clue what any of the employee and subsidiary contracts look like, but feel reasonably certain that her treachery is illegal.
