This looks like an explanation about the marks on his back - ouch. https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C5qjt6uvKZd/?xmt=AQGzyHeQVSlQ4y7VELKl2vP5-lNBogXBceNPWf0uL_2RCw

It's only playing at a few theatres on Saturday and most shows have few seats left - it was only available the two days. I still haven't decided. I just saw that Weverse is selling a vinyl LP now - I have the CD and no record player anyway.... Still utterly convinced that there will be something similar to the theatre film for sale on Weverse in a little while. It won't be the same as in a theatre, but I do have a pretty big tv. And did record, on my phone, the stream, though I haven't tried to watch it since, except Life Goes On that I saved on the phone.... They seem able to release something new every couple of months, or less, even with the members no where to be seen. So, with it being two months until Jin returns and while he's sure to do a couple of Lives and messaging, I don't imagine he'll be able to release anything new for a couple of months after that, not if he wants to do all the promotional stuff, too. Weverse will have something else fill the gap. But I do think Jin will have new stuff out before Hobi gets out in October.... (I can't wait for that first notice that a Live has begun..... )

The cost is about $25-30, depending on the theatre. With taxes, etc., it's more. There will, no doubt, be something to buy on Weverse. There's already a pay-for-it Road to D-Day. Weverse never misses an opportunity to make money. Kind of makes me grateful the Run BTS episodes and Bon Voyage have been free.

True - but I was adding the cost of streaming, etc. I'll probably break down and so on Saturday. You should, too - getting away from the stressors of the last five days would be healthy. You could use the break. And of course Jin is already showing us he will be the same sweet, goofy guy. But they won't be, aren't, 22. i just watched the fifth episode of Hope on the Street and still believe Hobi has taken all that he's learned and made it his own. A fusion. This documentary, and seeing him at his pop-up affirms that dance is still life to him and he hasn't lost the passion, won't. But, I wonder what I would think if I was walking down a street in a city,, or where ever, and came upon a couple of funkily dressed dudes just dancing their hearts out - maybe without actual music playing, and wonder what they were doing. I have never seen anything like this, spontaneously, on a city street, but it would be fun to.

Still on the fence about going, mostly due to the 80 minute length and having watched a stream of the concert. Yes, there is SO much talking by all the members - and TXT- between sets and songs, and especially at the end of a show. How much of the movie is behind the scenes and, maybe, dialog with Jimin, Tae and JK? And it's expensive -------
-
I think that Jin has always been a very thoughtful and kind man. I suspect it has a lot to do with how be was raised, though all the members are kind. And JK - five months ago, and still today, the top global solo superstar, but seen as just a kid, though he is older than most recruits. I didn't want them to have to go into the military but, in a way, it's kind of returned all seven to the same level after varying degrees of solo success. I am so curious about how their experience, and aging slightly, will impact their behavior and performances. Will they ever do choreo like Fire or Dope or even Run BTS. They will not be, in any way, a boy band. I think one of them said that they see this as an opportunity to define what the “adult“ idol group looks like. It will be different. They are pioneers. Just about two months until Jin is discharged. The time went faster than I expected.

I've watched the four that are out. Interesting top see who inspired Hobi and fun to watch him learn FAST. But also believe that Hobi is a quantum leap above the dancers who he has loved. He can do it all, he learns almost instantly, can sing and is a great writer/producer. I don't think this 6 episode special is illuminating but don't think someone who is not a fan of Hobi and/or hip hop would enjoy it.

Does the heart good to see him dance. I doubt the uniform allows for full body movement - but he looks so happy and proud. A little more than six months until he's back. I found the tiny, short posting about Jin going to Yoongi's military camp enlistment. It was a reel and those disappear - I had saved it, though. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5Dv8vXPF1z/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D

I know they don't need auto-tune but got into an argument with a friend of Chris', who I've know since he was a boy, about this. He insisted that EVERYONE uses autotune all the time while I insisted BTS may or may not for recordings, but that they don't necessarily for live performances. The argument was pointless. So many people simply don't give them credit - he acted like I am just a crazed fan, which is true, but not why I know they don't need autotune. It's kind of like when Yoongi just stopped singing mid-song once to prove he wasn't lip synching. When they did the concert in Busan, they hadn't been away from recording, performing and practice. They won't want to do a comeback until they feel they are perfect. I suspect that there are many songs already written for that. It will be interesting to see what Jin does when he gets out. He was the one member who, ahead of time, seemed to think it would be okay if they all just got on with their lives, but once he was enlisted, he seems to have reconsidered that and anxious to have everyone together again. No way for us to know, but I do wonder if, when they are in Seoul at the same time as other members, if they are already trying new songs out.

The only potential for a tour in 2025 is if they count New Years Eve 2025 as that would likely be the very earliest they could perform - at least up to their own high standards. The five that are finished in June will need some vacation time and time with family and then, I'd guess, at least 6 months of practice. In spite of being in fit shape, that doesn't translate to dancing shape. There will be muscle memory for older stuff, but they will want new material - and that also means recording new material. I suspect that there will be a lot of material that they've come up with while serving, but it will have to be polished and run by producers, like PDogg and SloRabbit. Really, what do we think is a minimum amount of time between reassembling and actual new songs being released? And I don't believe they'd embark on a new tour without an album being released just prior. It's not a question of only recording, but also learning new choreo, etc.. All tour details can be worked out well before the members are even done, by Hybe. I can't find anything that indicates that anyone gets an early release, no matter how exemplary their service is. FYI - Hope on the Street already has four episodes out and the last two will be by the end of next week, so for people looking to get the 30 day free Amazon Prime trial, you can safely get it now. Remember that Yet to Come, the concert in Busan is also on Amazon Prime. I think that it is really easy to see that Hobi can do anything the professional street dancers do, and more. I can see what he's taken with him but he is a league above all the guys he has always looked up to.

I like this - don't think I've seen it before, but I feel it vindicates my belief that our guys don't need auto-tune to sound good. https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C5VcnhVvGg5/?xmt=AQGzaiYhcmK9VyrEr6y12zEF2In-KOgiWWu4SoNw25Zgbg

I think that Hobi's solo stuff never gets the kind of streaming numbers that JK or Jimin or Tae get. He doesn't appeal to everyone and even ARMY can't get his numbers up. He appeals to me, though. Jack in the Box MV'S took a long time to reach a lot of views and even Astronaut - which was such an amazing and sweet MV - took about a year to get over 100M views. I feel that all the members are happy for the success of the others and do so hope they don't consider it a competition. While I believe that the increased views and streams of Jimin and then Tae and then JK had a lot to do with a thirst for BTS content, and all of their stuff is not distant from regular BTS stuff, and JK's latest is all in English. Hobi's “colors“ and “charm“ are sort of on the fringe of the more popular BTS content. Ditto for Yoongi and even RM. I love that they have been able to explore what they love and show us parts of them we wouldn't ordinarily see, at least as much content as a solo album allows, but the three youngest do not stray far from the “standard“ BTS, though Set me free, pt 2 with Jimin came as a surprise. I hope that each member is satisfied with what they've done as individuals and don't worry about who makes the most or has the most views and I think they are in a place now where it won't matter that JK's stuff has blown them all out of the water, in regards to sales and acceptance.

I just wrote a post and it disappeared.... I love the new song. Don't quite understand the MV yet. Planning on finally redoing all my playlists, semi-confident that we won't be getting any brand new stuff from our guys in the next couple of months. Tae - He wouldn't have gone if other members of his unit weren't going, too. But his exit from the stadium, with guards, is kind of weird. He must have arrived in a bus with the other guys in his unit. And left that way.

Here's a tweet about the special deal at the pop-up store when they taught ARMY the choreo for Neuron. I love that there was a no photo/autograph policy that brings to mind the standard BTS response when asked for pics years ago, when they were out in public more, “ no, business... “ . I follow Noah Nakta on Instagram; he does post good stuff. Michelle M 🥢 @ShibaRain It has come to my attention that the said performance directors that conducted the workshop are @Noah_Nakta and @minbro1345 (IG) AHHHH I should have talked to them more 🥲🥲 They didn’t allow us to take photos with them/autographs but all good! 3/31/24, 5:48 PM

Isn't there already a “ deluxe “ version of Golden? Haven't a clue if they do April's Fool in Korea. I am disappointed to hear that the AgustD concert film is only 90 minutes. I thought, and believe it was part of the initial promotion, that this would be different than the livestream because it included behind the scene and backstage footage. They can't possibly show much of that if they've already edited out at least a half an hour of concert - unless they cut all the ARMY applause. And I read more about the soccer game Tae was at - it was not in Seoul, but in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do and that's actually close to 50 miles from Seoul, so he mustt be based near that. Do we suppose he has bodyguards with him? Why? That would mean bodyguards need to be at the ready at all times near all the bases.
-
Wow - I'd have gone to that. Someone posted on tthe day of the pop-up opening that entrance was limited and standing in line only gave you one entry so people couldn't save a spot for a friend. And that the little/young dancer from the Neuron MV was in the line ahead of her...
-
My thoughts - I'm happy Tae got to do something kind of normal and somehow think it wasn't something forced on him. Hybe knew he was going - and I understand he had both his own and JK's bodyguards with him (which kind of shows that the military doesn't feel confident of protecting him themselves - or maybe Hybe doesn't think so ). His hair is longer than I thought it would be. This post includes his reaction to the playing of Dynamite in the stadium. (And we'll see if the gov't trys more of this. I think Tae would be pleased that he could bring other members of his unit. And we don't really know where he is stationed, but this sort of indicates he's in Seoul.) https://www.threads.net/@suga_bighitentertainmemt/post/C5LAFw1NCI2/?xmt=AQGzT8x9TuC2NKD61HQIJT0pmRg40kSgFO2EkKm5KpeHoA

I think he has sung in the lower register when he's doing the semi-silent harmony to one of the other vocalists. But, yeah, i wouldn't have guessed this was him.
-
Very. He did that cool debut-listening party for Jack in the Box at Hybe that he fretted over and wanted perfect. The venue for that was probably free and no regular people, but not inexpensive. So, he must have pre-planned all this a year ago before he enlisted. He is so detail-oriented. This is so cute- https://www.threads.net/@purple_lovetae07/post/C5IjNcLvwol/?xmt=AQGzdtZcJ6pFTStztayAVxRasyPi-ClpAhXQB5rLEQndxQ Also, I can't find where it appeared and I know that @rockstaryuzu saw it - must have been Instagram - but Jin did show up, went halfway across the country, to send Yoongi off for his 3 week military training. I'll keep looking. Such a thoughtful man.
