And yet Yuzu got his second Olympic gold medal against all odds. I seriously don't get it. What could possibly be the ISU's reasoning to push out established skaters with large fan bases? Any other sports federation would thank the universe for having athletes who successfully compete over many years and are very popular. After all, they are the ones who draw in people and money. The ISU should worship the ground Yuzu walks on and send prayers of thanks to the universe for giving them such a unique, precious star in Yuzu. Instead, they treat him like dirt. I wonder if they're really so delusional and disengaged from reality that they seriously believe that once Yuzu should decide to leave, they will continue to have as many people who are willing to pay all that money and go to watch competitions.

I also hope WTT gets cancelled. What's the point anyway? It's a fun, but meaningless, competition even during normal times. But nobody needs that in the middle of a pandemic! To think that I had planned to buy tickets for Stockholm and watch it live. I'm so glad that the WC was held without an audience. Just imagine spending more than 1000 Euros on an all-event ticket and spending another 1000 Euros and some on flights, hotel, food etc. Just to watch that shitshow! PS: The ISU and the Russian and American feds must be really happy now. They've finally managed to make the points judging system as corrupt as the old 6.0 system. Now they can go and divide and conquer all the gold medals among each other.

I have never been this unexcited for a competition in which Yuzu participates. I have also never cared less about who wins or gets medals or not in a competition in which Yuzu participates. Instead, I'm hoping that Yuzu will make the best out of this and deliver performances that he's satisfied with and - most importantly - that he stays safe and healthy!!!

In the last couple of weeks, I've been watching basically every single one of Yuzu's programs and performances for the 689th or something time. I've now also started to run through all his ice shows again. Is that a symptom of the so-called "dry cactus syndrome" also known as the "missing Yuzu syndrome"?

I wouldn't put it past Yuzu to attempt a triple Axel on those things.

How Yuzu should go to the World Championships. But seriously now, no matter how much I would love to see Yuzu skating again, I wish they would cancel Worlds. It's really too risky considering the present situation.
