He's definitely getting his body ready for 4 1/2 rotations. I think this kind of training probably helps him to keep his balance and sense of orientation as well as avoid getting nauseous when doing so many rotations within such a short amount of time.

Yuzu is truly the absolute GOAT! And to think that Yuzu did all this despite being constantly underscored! I have the feeling the more often Yuzu gets unfair treatment, the more often Max points out his superhuman achievements. Thank you for this summary! I hope Yuzu can achieve his goal and produce the perfect performance that he's striving for. Knowing him, it's not suprising at all that he doesn't just want to jump the 4A and land it. He wants to integrate it into his performance and create something that is not just a figure skating program but a masterpiece that combines athleticism and art in perfection. I'm certain that Yuzu will make his vision come true and look forward to what he will show us yet. I've been rewatching a couple of Yuzu's earlier performances that already won him medals, but it's astonishing how much he's improved in the last couple of years. His skating has reached a level that was absolutely unthinkable before him. He's getting better and better and keeps surpassing himself. I'm so grateful that he keeps on skating and keeps on improving and giving us more of himself and his art and craft. And if, in addition to creating the ultimate masterpiece that a clean H&E with a fully integrated, beautiful 4A will be, he should win his third Olympic gold medal in passing, well, that would be the ultimate strawberry on top.

I still remember that! And I really wondered about what Yuzu might have delivered that apparently killed the entire ice rink (and Twitter timeline). Then I watched Masquerade for the first time and everything became clear. It was an absolute game changer. I thought I had seen every magical thing that Yuzu could produce, but then this. I never thought that it would be humanly possible to bring so much passion, raw emotion and hotness onto the ice (or anywhere, for that matter). Yuzu has already shown us so many unbelievable, world shifting, gravity defying performances, but Masquerade went far beyond anything I had seen even from him. For me it was clearly love at first sight and the program became one of my absolute favorites right from the start.
