  1. Just gonna drop this here. Gary Beacom is a skater from the '80s who was known for being exceptionally unconventional is his approach to skating. Looks like he's still at it, and so I hope Yuzu sees this video and can feel inspired for his own innovations:
  2. True, but speaking and listening is different from reading. In any case, what you could do is take a screenshot of your translated letter, save it as a photo to your phone, then upload it as a photo attached to your fan letter in the Weverse mobile app
  3. They read English comments during the lives all the time, and respond to them. Have you forgotten?
  4. Barbara, the guys can read English.
  5. It's Hobiuary! So nice to see his smile.
  6. Having read the English version of the HYYH 'Notes', I am not exactly looking forward to this. Have a feeling it will bring the 'drama' part of K-drama, in spades, and have a lot of heart-wrenching parts.
  7. Wouldn't surprise me if Tae chose this because it makes his service time shorter Also, so far I can only find this reported by that one Tae solo account... currently looking for independent sources... Edit: found this. Don't know if this is referring to the same place as the post above, but military police is a whole different animal from regular military.
  8. I agree but maybe he did really well in training? And they have an open spot to fill?
  9. I wish they wouldn't have used the term "most evil". That's clearly a poor translation when what they mean is probably "most difficult" or "most dangerous". Come to think of it, they sent RM off into the mountains, too. My guess is these bases are really isolated, so at least there won't be any fans trying to follow them there. What an assignment. Will we even recognize him when he comes back? Stay safe, Tae.
  10. I have a lot to say about the outcome of the doping case against Valieva but I'm going to limit it to this: Someone at ISU can't do basic math. They invalidated Valieva's results and took her points away, then recalc'd the team results, putting Russia in bronze. This is incorrect. The results for each team women's event should be re-tabulated first, with every skater behind Valieva moving up a spot. That would give Maddie two more points and moved Canada to 55 points total and the bronze medal position. I'm not even going to mention the fact that the RusFed team as a whole didn't get disqualified on principle. ISU couldn't have screamed more loudly that they're still in Russia's pocket if they tried.
  11. Just a reminder - Love Wins All is on MCountdown voting this week, and there's a ton of voting going on on Mubeat - Lim Young Woon's little old ladies seem to have it locked down but we can take 'em!
  12. Maybe that's the project he created - a documentary on learnibg to drive. Ngl, it would be pretty funny
  13. Goodness, that fan chant at the end of the second one is pretty crazy! nice band, they're giving ENHYPEN vibes to me. More of a typical idol group.
  14. He must have been SOOOO cold! I just wanna wrap him in electric blankets and feed him hot chocolate
  15. I feel like they're doing a version of the BTS 'hustle til we make it, then hustle some more' energy
  16. i don't like reading that JK had an injury that kept him from his training, no matter how dubious the source... I hope it was minor, whatever it was
  17. Just FYI, the Ottawa show is always around the end of April and there's usually only one day here before they move on
  18. FYI for those who care: Keegan Messing will be headlining this year's Canadian Stars On Ice tour. If you're a fan of Keegan, I highly recommend coming to see him. SOI in Canada rarely sells out, so tickets should be easy to come by for any stop on the tour. You can take your pick of which Canadian city on the tour to visit and choose one that's economical for you to go to.
  19. Keeping things out of the press is probably exactly what they have in mind, though maybe not for the reason you're thinking. Think about how many people the group members do business with outside of HYBE, and how many of those end up selling/leaking private info (for example, RM's Korea rail bookings, leaked by a Korail employee for 3 years). Think about Jin getting injected with God knows what by a nurse at the base who finagled her way in there just because she wanted to meet him - that happened this time last year. If they provide medical services in-house, then everybody working at the clinic is a HYBE employee, so HYBE can make them sign confidentiality agreements and fire them if they break them. And the guys won't have to trust their most private matters to strangers any more. As for the IVs... I think it's important to keep in mind that while North American doctors act like rehydration via IV is a big deal, it's a lot more common practise in other countries and no one thinks it strange. For that matter, most of the ER staff I know of at my hospital would be pretty casual about giving themselves some IV fluid to combat a case of the runs, or a hangover, or so on. Jumpingbto conclusions just because someone at HYBE needed one isn't warranted
  20. I was so caught up in the MV I almost forgot to listen to the song. Saddest, most beautiful MV I've ever seen. He's great in it. They both are.
  21. That article is based on comments Jin seems to have made several years ago
  22. Um, am I supposed to be seeing PH's entire tweet history here? I literally see your whole X front page
