Lots of people on X are speculating that they're trying to force HYBE to fire them, so that they won't have to pay the fine.
-
3rd possibility: MHJ put them up to it. Although my own personal opinion is that it's a sympton of the beginning of the end of MHJ's interest in them. The fact that she didn't bother to contact them and tell them of her firing, the fact that she rejected working with them in solely a manager capacity, the fact they start the video with a plea, not for people to support them, but for everyone to stop harassing MHJ, the fact they're demanding MHJ be restored as ADOR CEO instead of anything for themselves - it all speaks to the end of a narcissistic gaslighting relationship. It's so obvious that MHJ used those girls as a weapon in her campaign to steal a company from HYBE. She most likely 'love-bombed' them at first to get them into her thrall, then would have started with more and more demands for proof of loyalty and love from the girls, which, in fact, the girls would never have been able to satisfy. Now that the plan has failed and the girls were unable to render ADOR into her hands, my bet is she's lost interest and withdrawn from them, leaving them bereft right at the moment when they need support the most. So they're trying even more desperately to prove to her how 'good' they can be in the hopes that she'll love them again. Anyone who has ever escaped the clutches of a narcissist will recognize the pattern, that's for sure.

Probably both. They seem to not have realized that they're merely employees, and bad ones at that.

Looks like that was filmed in Italy

All this simply underlines how much of a smear campaign it was. I hope Yoongi sues

Seriously. Just sell a downloadable file already I can't help but feel like a lot of the mess that weverse is as a company, also has it's roots in the MHJ stuff. I mean, it functioned pretty well when it was limited to BigHit/Hybe artists only. The trouble came in right around the same time as MHJ got on board at Ador... and as it appears she's basically a Trojan horse for SM, it's not a stretch to think that Weverse is getting sabotaged through bad business decisions

This one looks so pretty! I wish I could go ☹️ @Whoopiewoop I'm very sorry to hear that you'll be out of a job soon - and especially at that time of year. Hopefully you'll find another job before then. I don't have TikTok, but I'll retweet.

Coming 3rd to great historical figures is pretty much the same as coming first, in my opinion

RM just soft-launched his documentary for the making of RPWP: https://www.rmrpwp.com/synopsis/ It's going to have a premiere screening at the Busan International Film Festival. He's definitely marching to the beat of his own drum on this one.

Hey, check out Matteo Rizzo! He's on fire! Filmed by On Ice Perspectives, of course. (OIP posted a whole playlist from this ice show on YT, so go have a look!) -
Agree! ...consider the source... 😒

might as well re-use this link: https://w2g.tv/?r=wybs75tjkp0rfk716b I'm still wrangling the playlist but it'll be Run Jin's latest episode and some other stuff

Seconded!

Yuzu's next celebrity endorsement: Victoruan style fainting couches made by a famous furniture brand. Just wait.

Seriously! I feel like I need to get one

Who's still alive after this? When I say that I never thought I'd see the day.... Oh Yuzu. What on earth are we going to do with you?

My guess is that MHJ will now drop NewJeans like a hot rock. I find it interesting that ADOR used the phrasing "if she so wishes" regarding that. They're hoisting her by her own petard, since a huge aspect of her whole attack on HYBE has been her supposed attachment to NewJeans. Also, they're calling her out on her claims about creating a hit group from scratch. They're leaving her the option to replicate what BigHit did with BTS, if she cares to try. But since she's a malignant narcissist who has been using those girls as tools in her battle with HYBE, she won't do that. My guess is she'll use the drop in their sales as an excuse to abandon them. Oh, someone at HYBE is very, very, very smart.

Even though this is just the opinion of a couple ARMYs, it's a perspective I hadn't thought of and makes the situation even more tricky than I thought: However, the most nuanced translator account on Twitter has a more hopeful take:

Yup.

I read Yoongi's second apology and to be frank, it left me feeling profoundly disturbed and concerned for him. What the heck is even being said to him over there?! The Korean media who are keeping up this witch hunt on him are deeply evil people. Meanwhile, I read that they've discovered a second 'Nth Room' s*xual assault ring in Korea that's been operating on Telegram. The details of the case turned my stomach, so I won't go into it here, but it's so depraved it ought to be headline news - and yet all they can do is tear down Yoongi?! What. The. 🤬.
