  1. Considering that the posts of mine you're responding to are between three weeks and a month old, and buried deeply in the thread and that the rest of the discussion has moved on from there, I'm quite surprised you've taken so much time out of your day to write this response now. I don't want to drag the rest of the forum discussion back there, so rather than address your points, I'll say this: when I read a post and respond to it, I'm responding to the actual words that appear on the page, because I can't guess at what a writer may have actually meant by their words. If you think I'm misunderstanding you all the time, then maybe your words aren't accurately reflecting what you mean to say. One of the mods here told me that the Planet forums are set up so that everyone sees them in their own language. That's wonderful, but it could cause a poster's meanings to be lost in translation. Since I'm a native English speaker, and a writer at that, I see many layers of nuance and meaning in the things people say here, and I often forget that the original post might not even have been written in English. Therefore I sometimes find that other posters have said things they may not have meant to say. I don't know if this is the case for you, but if so, then I will try to keep it in mind in the future when I read your posts.
  2. Of course it'll be sexy, it's Yuzu. With apologies to J. Fernandez
  3. I was his fan back then, and somehow, I'm not surprised. He always gave that air of being a maverick.
  4. About Otonal: In my opinion, the version we saw at ACI was not at all complete. There were parts where Yuzu seemed to be still deciding what to do next in the middle of the program. So I'm looking forward to seeing the Helsinki version, I'm expecting it to be full of interesting things.
  5. No, I wasn't a satellite yet, but I watched it live on CBC and the tears sprang to my eyes as Yuzu left the ice after Ballade and gasped to Brian "I'm back! I'm back!" because that was the moment when you could see just how much stress he'd been feeling over being injured. I'm just sure that if I go back and read what the satellites were experiencing at that time, I'll blubber giant tears all over again.
  6. Considering that I was crying b/c of his injury and recovery, you'll understand when I say that I don't want to cry over a Yuzu performance ever again...
  7. I joined after Olys and I'm afraid to go and read those comments... I cried enough all by myself when he finished Ballade... I don't need to be encouraged to bawl by seeing other satellites do so...
  8. I want him to do Nutcracker pieces. He'd be the best Sugar Plum Fairy...
  9. I saw David. It is truly inspiring but so is most of the old part of Firenze.
  10. ...and a Jason and a Jun. Could someone please explain to me why it makes me so happy that all these international kids found a happy skating home in my birth city? This is why people call it 'Toronto the Good', seriously. 😍😃😃😍🤗
  11. He could use Blue Rodeo for the music ( for a N. Ontario inspired program)... I could totally see Yuzu doing Try or maybe 5 Days in May....
  12. I could whole heartedly get behind an Italian GP. I visited Venice and Florence last year and fell in love. Imagine Yuzu in Venice...think how inspired he might be by seeing something like the Basilica San Marco...
  13. I want to read that. I really hope it'll be published in English someday
  14. If Yuzu lurks here at all (some say he does), then he'll get it
  15. But he's not Nessie, because there have been confirmed sightings of him :). Nessie is the rumored thing that no one's seen yet.
  16. Dead now, dammit. How am I supposed to go to work like this?
  17. Yuzu's long-lost quintuplet siblings. They all skate like him, hence the confusion.
  18. Maybe he went out of his way to try and find one we didn't know? I'm glad he did. This one's quite different from the others.
  19. Did the costume sorter, and yeah...definitely reflects my preference for carnivore Yuzu. 1-Origin 1-Seimei 2.0 1-Let's Go Crazy (purple) 1-Hope and Legacy 5-Otoñal 5-Let's Go Crazy (white) 5-Parisienne Walkways (blue) 5-Étude in D-sharp minor, Op. 8, No. 12 9-Haru yo Koi 9-Vertigo 9-Believe 12-Requiem of Heaven and Earth 12-Hana Ni Nare 14-Romeo and Juliet 2.0 14-Wings Of Words 14-Hello, I Love You 17-Notte Stellata / 'swanyu' 17-The Final Time Traveler 17-Hana wa Saku 20-Seimei 1.0 20-POTO 1.0 22-Parisienne Walkways (black) 22-White Legend 22-Somebody To Love 25-Chopin 3.0 25-Notre-Dame de Paris 25-Story 28-Zigeunerweisen 29-Chopin 1.0 29-Chopin 2.0 29-POTO 2.0 32-Romeo and Juliet 1.0
  20. Congrats on becoming a prophet, by the way! Since it was indeed 'Today's Yuzu" next.
  21. I ❤️ rock Yuzu, and I think in Origin we're getting the best of both worlds. For all that the music is classical, Origin has a rock attitude IMO
  22. My results. Pretty well right. 23. Johnny's just as much of a Yuzu fanboy as Yuzu is a Johnny one, it's pretty cute. About clear files in general: I'm a lot more familiar with basic cardboard file folders, clipboards, binders, etc for documents. I only have one clear file, a Yuri On Ice one, that I was totally at loss for what to do with when I got it ( I eventually used it to save coupons in). They're not as ubiquitous here as they seem to be in Japan, so I was wondering about why so many were in offer...here in Canada at least, if promotional items are on offer, it's usually something like coasters or keychains, drinking glasses/plastic cups, or trading cards. Or a cheap ball or other toy or something. No one would think of office supplies like clear files for that, so I thought it was an interesting cultural difference.
  24. So, I've been wondering this for a while now...what do people use clear files for? Apart from as vehicles for unfairly gorgeous Yuzu photos, that is. Because they sure seem to be offered a lot as fan merchandise/perks. And there are only so many file folders one can make use of.
  25. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. She would leave Menelaus, Paris, Theseus, Achilles, and all the bloody rest of them behind to join us in thrall to our sweet Zu.
