  1. Probably his favorite Valentine's Day, for sure!
  2. Well, we all guessed it, but now it's official. It's Nam: https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figureskating/nam-nguyen-canada-world-figure-skating-1.5462960?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebar
  3. realistically, though, if he does LGC, every ER in Montreal is going to be filled with dead fanyus....fainted dead away...
  4. This especially. I just can't imagine it. It'll be so camp.
  5. I have no idea how Jordan kept up with him.
  6. Dylan and Andrew in Sailor Moon? Good for them, but also
  7. I work with an old Hungarian guy who has a favorite saying just meant for situations like these: 'The fish rots from the head'...so true!
  8. It would be a short lecture... it's only 196 years old...compare that to NDP
  9. Your boyfriend is an amazingly good man! Just make sure Yuzu gets at least equal time with whatever sport your bf is really trying to buy this TV for
  10. Maybe it's the quality of the video, but I'm having a hard time counting 4 rotations...I'd love to be able to see more clearly. Although of all the girls chasing quads right now, I'd say Young has some of the best chances to get good ones - she gets great height and covers a lot of distance with her triples, so she's halfway there already.
  11. Come to think of it, has Yuzu ever done Michael Jackson at any point in time?
  12. They keep missing the point. The reason why there is 'media pressure' is because they did the wrong thing, repeatedly, and failed to take reasonable steps to prevent harm to those under their care, repeatedly. If they had never done anything wrong, the media would have nothing to stick on them in the first place. When you're in a position of responsibility, then you're responsible for what happens on your watch, end of story.
  13. Gabi, Guillaume, and Yuzu perform a pas de trois version of Fame to close out the gala, with Gabi and Guillaume doing all the lifting together and Yuzu in the air the whole time...
  14. Well, I don't think it's any of those things, but realistically speaking, that would mean him having to learn another skater's program on top of his own.
  15. So, I've been using this website - www.wanikani.com - for a while now to learn kanji. It has a colour scheme. Today it finally dawned on me what part of that colour scheme is. Behold, SEIMEI as learning aid: well, it made me chuckle anyway.
  16. probably why he does an awful lot of things, tbh...
  17. 6-quad Origin 2.0 ending with 4A landed right before the face of the ISU's chief judge. For the salt and the burn.
  18. The history associated with the colour is very interesting! All Yuzu has said about the colour choice so far, that I could find from interviews, is that they wanted to keep SEIMEI costume as is, but also wanted a way for fans to tell at a glance which SEIMEI they were looking at, so they had to change something about the costume, but not too much. And that he feels elegant and bright in the green.
  19. It's one of Yuzu's signature 3As, it'll be back. @KatjaThera I think it's the symmetry = beauty thing that they're talking about. In reality, no human being ever has a perfectly symmetrical face, so someone who comes very close to perfect symmetry would probably make most people feel subconsciously uneasy b/c of the unnaturalness of it. I certainly have that kind of reaction to Pattinson.
  20. And with good reason. I have no idea how they came to the conclusion that Robert Pattinson is the world's most beautiful man but his face has the opposite effect on me... Oh, come to think of it... @Crow - you were asking over in the 4CC thread how it's possible for Yuzu to be so much more handsome in person than on the screen, and this discussion here has got me thinking how to explain it: Yuzu's good heart and earnest spirit shines out of every pore and you really feel it when you see him in person. What's the saying? "Handsome is as handsome does"? it's literally that. Character counts.
  21. And even more people who don't intend to be irritating but have no clue how the things they write sound to their audience....
