US media twisting things and doing mediaplay - SURPRISE SURPRISE! at this point i tend to stay away from reading any american article/video about yuzu. one is because they use yuzu's name as clickbait and two is they totally misinform the audience. same goes to commentaries. i used to really like hearing commentaries but now i realized half of them turned on him and some of the ones who used to give him the biggest praises are the first to drop him. now im being selective and more careful..it might be difficult to change what they say, so rather than lashing out on them, we can still spread the yuzu love around the net as much as we can. at least we got to make olympic channel recognize yuzu is the megastar in compensation for what jsf did to him. at least Max decided to speak up about the scores.
-
we've been spoiled by the things yuzu does on the ice that doesnt even garner him more points but he just does it for the fans, the passion, and the artistry
-
and to know 98% probably from a backcounter or twizzle entrance yet his height and length top any other skater's ---- and im actually pretty happy with this! he is taking treatment again rather than going straight to training. at least it shows he is clear minded and not just burned from kuyashii. I dont mind him skipping a couple of ice shows. Sometimes its a bliss he isnt competiting at all and just rest.
-
lol yeah i know its silly to ask. but I have been seeing him picking ACI for the past couple of seasons now. I guess my question is can he compete in more than 1 challenger series? for selfish personal reasons, I do want to see him compete before Sept. or as many times this year as possible. I also wish he can just compete at competitions where he has a chance to win even with a couple mistakes. And even if he loses i dont mind honestly. it doesnt always have to be gold or at big comps. just want him to be prepared and compete as many times while he is still young.
-
Does Yuzu only attend ACI for the challenger series now? Do you think he will participate in more smaller comps next year leading to the grandprx to test the new jumps?

While it has its own beauty, having done Chopin for three seasons before Otonal makes it hard for me to not see a lot of similarities between the two. As much as I love Otonal, I can't help but often compared it to Chopin. It is def better than Chopin 1.0, and maybe Chopin 2.0 in terms of complexity, but isnt as passionate and intense as Chopin 3.0, which to me is Yuzu's biggest masterpiece for the short, understandably so. I do think Otonal has room to grow but I dont want him to keep this program. I had wished he would skate it squeaky clean for WTT but since he isnt competing, I will resort to his COR perf, which is still a breathtaking beauty. Just preference wise, I am putting it above LGC but below Chopin and Parisienne Walkways. I am not the biggest fan of Origin...yet. I said this many times but I think it is just way too intensed. I think the 4 min constraint is also one of the reasons why this program has not been able to be at its full potential. The thing about Origin is it is super packed in such a short span of time and Yuzu hasnt had the energy to skate to this program the way he wants yet...but it has the wow factor of its difficult technical content like the 4t3a. I put together a video with each element he did best from all four competitions and it's def much more refined. I think I am placing it after Hope and Legacy and Seimei for now. And yeah maybe my RJ 1.0 baby too since I just adore that program so much. I do think he will repeat it unfortunately but it isnt a bad idea. HYK is simply a Yuzu styled ex. Masterpiece in terms of performance but it isnt as memorable as Notte Stellata nor as touching as Requiem. It isnt my fave ex, tbh.

I did a clean version edit for Origin still not yuzu at his best but it shows what a complete version would have looked like

But Japan has a big fs market so it really doesnt matter to them, unfortunately. japan just seems like a country that really loves figure skating no matter who performs and they love buying tickets. the impact might be more toward tv viewership or merchandizes but idk in the future jsf will try to raise a new shoma uno. but i do believe with every corrupted system, at one point it will reach its breaking point where it is heading toward its own demise and collapse. justice will prevail in the end but maybe just not during yuzu's time..and i will probably no longer stayed as a fan by then.
-
I wonder how Japanese fans are feeling about this whole situation, about scoring inflation, corruption, injustice for poohs and stuffs. or do they know but dont really care enough to voice it
-
oh and you know what. forget it. if jsf aint doing one single thing for yuzu then why should we bother doing anything they say. maybe instead of throwing to the rink we throw them at the judges?
-
Yeah i mean I know they are donated anyway so lets just instead of buying poohs that later get donated, can we directly donate to the local charities under his name after his skate?
-
maybe from now on to help yuzu from getting thrown under the bus by his own fed - who is a snake - we should donate the money that would have been spent on the poohs to children under his name or something. The Pooh Rain Foundation

Idk why TES is related to PCS but i do agree yuzu's jumps sometimes add to the choreo and performance aspects so it really should give his PCS a boost. if yuzu had scored 216 in the free and remember he did get 216 back in gp nhk 2015 with just 3 quads, and nate getting 206, nathan would have still comfortably won due to the mistake yuzu did in the sp. but the reality hurts
-
why does yuzu have to be perfect by his standard to get those GOEs and PCS? its just not fair to keep grading him on how he performed compared to his other perfs instead of grading him on how he performed compared to the rest. if Nathan were to be perfect at his landings imagine the scores he would have gotten even more, so yes, yuzu wasnt getting the perfect scores bc he wasnt clean but nathan didnt have the best landings eithet so thats why he didnt get his nats scores. nathan really closed the gap in pcs and goes now after this comp. to me, nathan's non existing transition and choreo should really have that much of gap between his pcs and yuzu's that it should have closed enough of a gap between their free. should it have closed enough for yuzu to win? im not sure but im sure the margin he won over yuzu was outrageous and the only reason people are justifying for him is due to normalization we see in this sport. ive resigned to the fact that i cant do anything about it but i will never agree that it is ever fair im done with this comparison bc its only draining my emotion
-
how could he look even better than a main protagonist shonen drawing in such low quality photos?
-
thank God he's back and safe. its good for him to stay away from japan media and pressure now and concentrate on his next plan. i wish him the best in his recovery. yuzu, please take as much care and time off as you needed. we will wait no matter what even if that means we will become dry cacti again. as long as you are healthy and happy we will support you (eventho im sure he is back and start training again)

I feel like this isnt a birthday gift project where we are buying him a present he would wear. if it is a cheer up project, we are definitely implying about what had happened and it is inevitable to feel it is related. But Yuzu isnt a vulnerable person and I believe he knows our gift is coming from a different place so he might appreciate it. maybe we're trying to read his mind too much that in the end we'd think its better off not giving or doing anything

idk i never feel like we need to make the medal as a compensatory gift for his saitama medal. we can really make it clear that it is something we celebrate for him as the best ever.
