Trigger warning: discussion suicide and depression

Lol, Dangit! I saw this and searched for it on Youtube to add to my playlist and was confused because I couldn't find it. Then I thought I must have gotten the time wrong and was confused because it's past midnight KST in MN. Searched for the video on Youtube again. Looked a third time... Realized it was the wrong day. My control freak instincts are getting to me. I've been using Scener and Stationhead and I'm so frustrated at the playlists that I have an urge to start my own stations. I keep feeling like I'm missing something because I don't get why the play lists are laid out like that and why we've abandoned Seven and Like Crazy when they're still charting. I wish Army would get organized enough to experiment with long play lists - the fandom seems so sure that it'll cause them to get filtered out as "bots" when I haven't seen any evidence on the internet to support it as long as you regularly interact with the play lists. I think Army is over thinking it. The Blinks clearly don't care - at least partially because they have such a small discography so they don't have to - and they're putting up much better numbers considering how much smaller their fandom is. girl group talk

V and Yeontan were so stinkin cute on M Countdown. This account has a bunch of stuff from the show. Now JK got involved in the hot beverage after spicy food discussion.
-
Cute! Do you think JK likes being TXT hyung as much as Jin likes being Coldplay maknae? I wish I had a Jimin in my life. I'm always the one taking care of everyone around me, often to the point of being bullied.
-
Just saw the answer to Jimin's question. I always drink milk when I'm eating an extra spicy meal to manage the pain but keep eating. I guess the hot beverage trick would work if you bit into something you didn't realize was spicy. It doesn't seem practical to keep doing it for a whole meal

Yes, but considering he normally looks spaced out at awards shows whenever he's not interacting with the other members, I'm guessing these things are a bit tedious for him. It's a great platform for the lesser known groups, but I think everyone knows that the VMA's are a joke

Ah. I think the problem is that I'm playing it from a web browser instead of the app. I lose functionality going from Spotify web vs. app as well so I switch between the two when I'm setting up playlists. Unfortunately I don't see a computer app for Stationhead or Pandora - I might want to reinstall Bluestacks. For those that don't know, Bluestacks is a program that allows you to use phone apps on your computer. Judging by Stationhead and Scener and Spotify numbers, it looks like Army has backed off a little on Seven to push Layover. I don't know why Army doesn't think it can support both. All we need to do is make sure there are other songs in between, right? Doja Cat managed to overtake JK on Global 200 but JK is still #1 on Global 200 excl. US I know World Music Awards is just milking the engagements, but they sound like fangurls and lol, look what Jin posted on Joon's birthday 7 years ago

I'm disappointed that I can't figure out how to save the playlists on Stationhead. I was hoping that I could make one on the iphone account and it would show up as an option but no luck. Do you have stations that you recommend? I also can't figure out how to search for channels I've looked all over for this info. Thanks so much!!! I'll have to figure out Pandora then - so I can just loop Seven, Slow Dancing, and Like Crazy over and over then. ETA: 60 day free trial for Pandora Premium! It looks like I have to set up the playlist 1 song at a time and I don't see a looping option Wow, this is super convenient. I'm torn because I have certain streaming goals, but it is nice to not have to worry about it. And this will definitely my go to when I head to bed since I don't have to worry about YouTube pausing. Jin's an all animal lover. I think he's never gotten over Jjangu dying so he never got another one. But Jin secretly donated to an animal organization every month. The organization wanted to honor him publicly and Jin only agreed to it because he knows that public acts of charity encourages more charity. I think he's a bit excited about not having to worry about styles that cover up his ears. I was more surprised they beat Olivia than I was about JK beating Taylor. JK already won the Audacy event over Taylor. I guess Kpop fans are just that devoted. I'm guessing Army also helped them. Genetics play a bigger role than most people realize. I'll take puffs for the flavor of vapes and to help perk me up when I'm tired, never been even slightly addicted to the nicotine. Even a notoriously addictive substance like heroin only has a 30-60% addiction rate (numbers vary widely).

Is this JK's new album?

Did some tinkering, and I've figured out that: 1. You get 1 month free trial of Apple Music. -- The only way to currently play it on Windows is if you connect it to Station head (or a similar service). The reason it doesn't function on my computer is because right now, Apple only has a "preview" version of Windows and it only works on the newest version of Windows -- btw, now that I've discovered the Stationhead trick, I'll probably be playing it constantly if anyone else wants to join my station stationhead.com/oldcatlady 2. Spotify has 3 months of premium free for new accounts for 2 or 3 more days 3. Amazon Unlimited has 30 days free trial for new accounts. If you don't want to constantly change e-mails, then you can get an annual subscription plan or a family plan (up to 6 accounts) discount 4. Disney+ has $1.99 a month for 3 months 5. I didn't see anything about filtered streaming for anything other than Spotify. But there seem to be very little transparency in the other streaming platform so who knows how much is getting counted. 6. It looks like I can't play both apple music and Spotify on my iphone at the same time. So the only reason to get both is to play 1 on stationhead
-
But I assume you need to have a subscription for those apps right? So it'll be the same as streaming on a device except you're interacting with other members? BTW, Disney+ has a deal going on where it's $1.99 a month for 3 months ETA: I found a good guide to streaming for the different platforms. It seems to indicate that ONLY Spotify is filtered? And I was thinking I'd get subscriptions rather than buying copies since I could boost numbers for all the members but looks like the purchases count more than an entire month of streaming ETA 2: I feel so dumb. I signed up for a month trial of Apple music and I can't figure out how to make a playlist on the web browser. Every time I click on the song, I only get a "share" link. I even googled how to make the playlist
-
Are literally ALL your streams filtered or just the 20 play limit? I cancelled my Amazon music since it's raised its price and I have my 4 Spotify accounts and I don't know how Amazon works for charts. Do you know if the other platforms are limited to 20 plays like Spotify - maybe I'll get the yearly subscription to get the slight discount? Youtube definitely seems to have a low limit. I don't get how Station head works either. I don't see it listed for counting toward the charts. Did you ladies see that Doja Cat finally took #1 on Spotify? Did the Blinks actually get something going with the anti-BTS movement? Seems weird that a 5 week old song would suddenly get this huge surge in plays. She got an additional 390k plays from the previous days, not to mention a sudden increase in streams of millions over the course of the past couple weeks. Looks like Blinks are also rallying the cry to vote for Taylor and Olivia on MTV. I still can't figure out how to vote for the damn award. I followed MTV and go to their stories but nothing happens when I tap to vote

I just created an account to use for a Duo plan and it gave me 3 months of Premium Spotify for free. So anyone who doesn't have a premium account, should try signing up to see if she gets the deal as well. There's 4 days left for the promotion ETA: Me, Gabe, Einstein, and Happy all have Spotify now I figure 4 is all I can manage while regularly interacting - 1 in computer browser, 1 in computer app, 1 on home phone app, and 1 on work phone app.
-
Just thought this was cute. There's also memes about how Army is pregnant

The song is pretty, but I just wish he had one of his own songs as the title track. These songs are nice, but his are truly great. My days are off - I got an offer to get Spotify Duo for no additional cost for 2 months. I don't know if Spotify has any restrictions as far as IP addresses - probably not since it only hurts them financially - but this means I have double the streaming power for a couple months.

Huh. What's the point of announcing a top 2? The award is already a joke, why also remove the drama of the moment? Honestly, if TXT wins this and BP doesn't show up, it kind of confirms that this is an attendance award. But even if it is an attendance award, it'll be meaningful for them because it'll give them exposure to the American public when they wouldn't normally get it ETA: Ooooh! So apparently they're doing a run off between the 2 groups but you have to vote through MTV's instagram stories Still confusing and super annoying. I can't tell if my vote actually went through. When you click on them, it pauses their pic and a link shows up to take you to the main voting page, but voting is closed on the site ETA 2: saw this link in the comments. When I click it says my vote has been counted. Not sure if it actually has

Glad to see that JK was able to get #1 on both charts. Predictions were that Doja Cat would pass him on the Global 200. And I'm not sure if it was just 1 unhinged Blink that Army decided to exaggerate or if they actually managed to get something going, but supposedly Blinks were streaming Doja to try to topple JK from the top

I'm always struck by how small Bam's face is and I think to myself, even JK's dog fits Korean beauty standards! I'm curious exactly what "unusual" activity they're referring to. They don't seem to have any safeguards against multiple accounts and each account is limited to 10 so why do they think that overseas accounts are more likely to be botting? I'm also curious as to whose fandom they're suspecting. If the "unusual" activity is simply an unexpected number of votes for a certain group, it's probably Stays - which doesn't even mean that they broke any rules, just that they're more popular than MTV realized or the fandom was able to rally more support from other fandoms. If it's an inordinate # of votes from a specific location like Thailand, it's probably Blinks. I don't recall any semi-successful mass voting attempts from the other groups so I'm guessing it's one of these 2 if there is a genuine issue rather than just racism - makes no sense to think the US is less likely to bot when people are just as likely to be tech savvy here as anywhere else. But this does favor Blinks - whether that was MTV's intention or just a side effect of racism, not sure. Did you see the Twitter posts from Blinks asking other fandoms for help? Why TF would BeyHive, Swifties, Barbz, etc. care about giving BlackPink and award? I'm happy for JK that he's even in the conversation, but I personally find this article a little insulting. What do you mean the "first hit by a BTS member"? Jimin also got #1, and Western artists aren't expected to get #1 for a song to be considered a hit. Tom wasn't fired - he retired while he recovered from testicular cancer. The 1st few seasons of The Real World were great, especially the San Francisco season. They used to delve into a lot of topical issues. And they had really informative, in depth specials as well as fun animation. They had a lot of trash alongside the good stuff, but there used to at least BE good stuff. It wasn't until MTV made everything about salaciousness that the channel became unwatchable. I was actually disappointed that he was nominated for that because that means he won't be nominated next year for any of the real categories. But I suppose the timing of the release would make any nominations next year really awkward - not that an MTV award is worth anything anyway. It's really just a platform for promotion. Taylor and Beyonce might go, but I doubt they even display those gaudy trophies

That's so ridiculous but so cute! I love that this guy loves his bull so much that he wants to drive it around like a dog. I wish my cats were comfortable riding shotgun
-
I'm so grateful to Jimin and his rascally ways, but I suddenly feel a pang in my heart. Can you imagine how quickly and excitedly Hobi would have reacted to this photo?
-
That was such a ridiculous controversy. I'd say that it was just antis looking to manufacture a controversy, but even in 1 of my BTS fan groups, people were talking about how disappointed they were in him. When people tried to explain the song and how him posting it wasn't anti-Muslim, one person said that it supports homosexuality and since it's against her religion, Joon was disrespecting her religion. And it's like... what BTS have you been following? Sometimes it's tough to take the zen Keanu Reeves approach to life, but if you get yourself too tangled up with internet morons, your IQ will shrink down to their level. I also came across this post: In the comments, someone says that the owner is Trans. It surprised me a little that someone would be openly trans and have a gay bar in South Korea. I guess it shouldn't - I read that S. Korea has started having Pride events and the world is ever evolving - but I know S. Korea is very homophobic. But it makes me proud to see how brave our guys are to openly support something so controversial in their home country. I doubt any of them will ever come out because they have to think of their shareholders and the futures of everyone under their label, but they're still taking a step toward more acceptance.
