Welcome! good to see our little FanyuARMY growing. I started being a MiniMoni bias but, these days, I'd say Jin and Yoongi are my biggest obsessions. Jin is the one I most relate to and he (and JK) have the solo songs I listen to the most. But I have a massive crush on Yoongi - I turn into a puddle of goo every time he smiles and does that adorable dance, but he also has such a sexy aura on stage. However, I love them all for different reasons and have attended the solo concerts of all the members that toured in the US.

I got RM, Suga, Hobi, and V so far. Luckily, Gabe loves McDonald's so it works out for me. I just eat a few of the fries and maybe a nugget and give him the rest Around here, there's a hamburger kid's meal (4.99) or either a 4 (5.19) or 6 (6.19?) piece nugget meal. it comes with kid fry, apple slices or another kid fry, drink, and the toy. The apples and the Happy Meal box have special Tiny Tan packaging and also includes stickers. Honestly, I was impressed - thought that this was one of the best Happy Meal campaigns I've seen. The staff is unlikely to know which toy is which and, here, they have them pre-prepped to hand out so they probably won't allow you to pick your toy. My local Facebook BTS fan group has a chat for trading. At my McDonald's, I waited until there were no orders on the screens and asked if I could trade my 2nd and 3rd RM for 2 other toys and she obliged, but had to rifle through several Happy Meal boxes to find them so I felt bad about bothering her. there's a number on the back of the box that indicates the member in fan chant order so when I asked to swap my RM's, I explained how it worked and showed her the number and asked for 2, 4, 6, or 7.

The speculation on X is that it's actually only 1 member that's doing it. I forget what song, but there was another occasion when it was promoted as "BTS" when it was only 1 member doing it. The Jackson family has praised BTS in the past and Michael's nephew (?) was very touched by all the references to Michael in Dynamite so I believe that they're involved in the tribute album. X is speculating that it's most likely JK, which would make sense since he's the one that's the most musically similar to Michael. btw, when I was at J Hope's concert, I remember thinking that while popular opinion is that JK is the closest to Michael, I thought Hobi's dance style and stage presence is the most similar to Michael's.

by far, the closest I've been. 6 rows back from the floor. I was a little behind the part of the stage that protrudes so I saw a lot of the back of his head but this is the 1st concert where I watched the stage more than the big screens

Luckily looks don't kill, because pretty sure I would've been dead if you were there. My throat is still sore from all the singing and screaming I did. Not sure if it was the format or the energy from other VIP concert goers, but I think I loved this concert the most. It was the least polished of all the concerts, but the pure fun and joy was incredible. btw, my hostel mates and I were discussing the possibility of a maknae line tour. None of them have enough songs on their own for a tour, BTS isn't coming back until March, and Tae hinted at something happening in August. The timing is right for the announcement of a late fall tour. I already bought a bunch of JK stuff off of Temu to use as give aways (since the rumors are currently just about JK) ETA: btw, one of our songs for the acapella game was Dope and they gave us the rap line lyrics! Jin's face as we were trying to sing was priceless - his actor training was perfect for this format. He found such fun ways to roast us. But once he saw the lines we got he, apologized and said that even he wouldn't be able to sing that. And we were supposed to sing Yena's part in Loser and he said that there must be mostly men there that day because we were only singing the low notes One of our key words for Telepathy was Mission Impossible. I had no clue what to do and just started copying what i saw on screen in case I got on camera. He guessed Tom Cruise - I feel like they should have given him that one. It was really hard. He got zombie, the 2nd key word, easily

sound check was Super Tuna, Rope It, and Don’t Say You Love Me. he looks SO cute. haven’t caught up on the thread yet. trying to decide if I want to sneak a pic or 2 from sound check FYI, lot of people dressed up in Super Tuna overalls outfits. a few cowboy getups. they’re all more committed than me - 90+ F and humid. I went with purple silk sun dress most popular merch item seems to be Wootteo key ring. it was the first thing to run out at the regular merch booth but I got one at the VIP booth. I’m told the jerseys are super popular too. people are very friendly and got a whole bunch of fan made stuff. I think I’m going to try to make earrings to give away at the next concert. I already regret not buying a ticket for yesterday as well - several ARMY at the hostel and they all told me it was worth seeing twice ETA: dammit. it occurred to me to get Wotteo keychain for @rockstaryuzu but they ran out by the 2nd time through the line

Oh well... It'll be exciting to be a part of my first VIP experience. At least I won't put too big of a dent in my bank account. For a while, I thought I had to be there at 7 am and was planning a way to rearrange my whole sleep schedule but turns out check-in isn't until 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. I don't want to get there too late since if you don't check in by 5 you miss out but wondering if there's any benefit in being there earlier vs later beyond that

Hubby decided he wanted to go visit his Dad next weekend and we'll be camping so likely won't have good internet I admit that I'm not a good predictor of what'll be popular but I've heard of Glorilla (though don't know her music) and this song is super catchy and Hobi seems to be getting more and more popular in the US. I could see this charting well over here.

Of course they all look beautiful, but it's kind of unfair that Jin can look like this with limited time for skin care and no makeup. I remember actually wondering if he quick put on some makeup before he came out.

I admit, I didn't think he could win with Jimin having so many solos and Army's votes being split compared to the other groups having the full support of their fandoms. Sad to say, the past laxness by ARMY to support the hyung line has had a negative effect on me. It's hard to be motivated to stream and vote when you don't believe that it'll happen so I haven't even gotten a premium account to stream and didn't vote for AMA's. But ecstatic to see that ARMY came together to make this happen.
