The thing is he's relating to Plushenko's performance and Plushenko skated a Tribute to Nijinski so the connection is lost then. I mean I ordinarily do not care what one does with a music cut but this particular piece had a very real theme, related to Nijinski. And it's not like Yuzuru isn't echoing Plushenko's program/ballet in tiny bits, he is. I mean the ending pose is actually inspired by Nijinski. It's fine, hardly the end of the world, but still curious to me; I'd love to know if he even thought about this.

Fingers crossed. I've actually started seeing new articles already, for about half an hour now, but there's nothing really 'new' there. So right now, they're following the same pattern as yesterday, question is just whether we'll get video or whether he'll be doing those long interviews that will get released later on.

There's no guarantee we'll get anything at all but yesterday, news of the programs dropped first, and we already have that. It's still a bit early in Japan, 6am, so if we are to get any video of the SP, then it'll probably be a bit later.

See this is why I've been pondering since last night - who is doing the music? Marton or Yuzuru and his team? Because this isn't quite like the usual music situation. Or rather it can be but at the same time, they may have talked to Marton himself who is still involved with Plushenko, I've seen him at the Academy too.

When it comes to Korea, it's somewhere on PH, no idea where, the president resigned and there are all sort of accusations, he's under investigation, and the whole fed is in a mess so everything went boom there. So that has to get sorted first, it's beyond skating now. Sigh.

I may have sent that as music to tcc.... Ahem. But yes, and as @WinForPooh says as well, it is ideally suited for him. And no, I don't think anyone at this moment could skate it as he can, not even remotely. In general that program really is immensely suited to him, his skill and style. If there is something to perhaps think about is that, potentially, the choices for the short and the free, are a little bit similar. So to avoid this, the music cut for the short will be super important. There's less possibility to fiddle with Nijinsky but way more to fiddle with that. So we have to wait and see.

Actually it's pure saltiness. That's what it is. Especially since some of it is coming from very known circles so tbh it is just making me laugh. Yes, please do shed that salt because Yuzuru is creative in his choices. And if anything, Nijinsky, not the short, but Nijinsky is a massively risky, original choice. It is an iconic program skated by an iconic figure. He has to take that and make it his own. A good thing is that it's a 6.0 program so once COP comes into play, it already helps but even with that, it's simply too well known, it's Plushy's signature piece. That the music was done especially for him adds to it. So really, if someone doesn't like the music, fair play, that's normal. But that choice is anything but recycling and anything but easy. In fact, it's probably the biggest risk you can take. Which just gets my adrenaline going and I am sure Yuzuru's as well.

Perfectly normal. I am blabbing on a fansite as well but I figure, I have all night to finish this bit of work. Totally not procrastinating or anything. And yes, I think he is back to pre-4Lz stable status, and who knows what he'll poke at now. Nessie I imagine. But overall, I'm loving what we've seen. I keep replaying the steps you linked and gosh, someone hold me. It's gorgeous! Just a hint of Plushenko and yet very Yuzuru. I don't want to jinx anything but as a fan of Plush and obviously major fan of Yuzuru, and with all his reasoning behind these programs, and how happy he is, I think my chances of falling in love with Origin are probably through the roof by now.
