How about goats for ACI, nessies for Helsinki, and Poohs for CoR? That way, we would have some time to make the nessies. What we could do is make some nessies without stuffing, and someone bring them all to helsinki or moscow, and someone there could provide old stuff from pillows or whatnot to fill them up TBH if we made a GIANT one then it can't be missed!! Even if it's not a rain. In fact it may stand out amongst all the yellow!

This is a great interview and Misha sounds very grounded and intelligent. He received soooo much criticism after his skate (i.e. people saying he let his country down, which must be emotionally devastating, how do you even get over that?) that no skater deserves. It's not like they go out to fail on purpose. I found this quote interesting: Time and time again we see this -- sometimes first time Olympians rise to the occasion but more often than not they feel the pressure. Experience cannot be overstated at the Olympics!

Oh I do the same actually I often make these mental "connections" between skaters at my rink and skaters they look like and/or skate likethere's a little blonde girl at my rink who reminds me of Tara Lipinski...another lady who reminds me of Miki Ando, another one who reminds me of Katarina Witt, a girl who reminds me of Wakaba, and...I think that's it for now

It's just so beautiful! He is bringing another level of skating that is hard to believe is even possible. A true blend of art and athleticism. Every time he wins the Olympics, he makes quantum leaps artistically and athletically in a short period of time (I feel this happened in the 2014-2015 season too). Even when you think it's just not possible to improve anymore. I just have no words.
