TCC also has special membership tiers for elite athletes who train there. And perhaps a little creepily Yuzuru is probably the single most attention boost for TCC in recent years, including boosting memberships Plus ANA pays the yearly fee and the yearly fee isn't even that much for a normal member (before the aforementioned discount for elite athletes). The fee is like $2k/year which I'm sure ANA is more than happy and able to pay. But if Yuzu won't even step foot there he doesn't need to pay it; you can resume your membership at any time. TCC isn't some exclusive ivory tower lol, they are literally just a sports club.

true. but then why did the fed reach out? she could have just gotten ice time to start, and then switch later.

rumors are that someone blocked this transfer. not hard to guess who, if true. honestly, i can believe eteri was making her life as hard as possible. she was safe in canada but in russia...nope, eteri has her claws in every corner of the figure skating world there. coupled with the pandemic.......there's no way this wasn't her last resort. sad. to think she could have just stayed PUT instead of going on her world tour at the start of the pandemic, she could be training in toronto now, with brian and the canadian skaters happily at TCC. now she has nowhere to go but russia and back into eteri's sphere of influence/control. that one bad decision was not only terrible for her from a PR perspective, it may have ended her career. again, sad sad sad.

WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS?? WHY??? SPECIFICALLY TO REVEAL HIS WHERE/WHEN HE TRAINS? Knowing how much care Yuzu takes to protect that information, that's just despicable! Poor Yuzu...he must be so PISSED

re. the magazine stalking him at night...yikes, that's highly depressing. he looks sooo over it. i feel very sad for yuzu.

I heard she told brian that she wasn't risking the pancake spin (I'm guessing the one that she just marked basically?) so it makes sense that it's a back injury. Still sad, though. Back injuries are no joke.
