  1. Maybe there should be a thread specifically for that type of thing
  2. hmm, well, it's already a theme, so you can use it if you want (it'll stay one of the options!)
  3. Sure, two weeks sounds good. Let's give everyone 1 week to look at the banners and make sure we have all of them (please poke me if you don't see yours!) and then two weeks to vote?
  4. Here are all the submissions! Let me know if I forgot yours; I just went through the thread and might have missed some. Also, they're all out of order, sorry.
  5. I collected all of the banners and will create a post organizing them!! Thanks everyone! We got soooo many submissions and all of them are beautiful Meanwhile, what do you think of having: 1. The top voted banner be the default theme, and 4 other banners be optional themes 2. 1 week of voting 3. Up to 5 votes per user? Thanks :)
  6. It's really amazing, isn't it? I really don't understand how can it be so inexplicably amazing... Loss for words ETA: I'm not sure what my favorite version is. For some reason Worlds 2015 is one of my favorites. I like GPF 2015 but if I want to rewatch Chopin I go for Worlds 2015 or SC 2015 or something. -don't know- haha
  7. LOL that sounds so sarcastic I think "suspension of disbelief" (at least, from what I learned in English class) is like...when you're reading a book or watching a movie, and things just happen mysteriously in a way that doesn't make much logical sense just to get the plot to go in the direction the author wants to. Like, figuring out how to escape a trap a millisecond before the bad guy walks in...LOL something like that
  8. I think we should also have meetup specific threads
  9. Lol poor Boyang. I guess it makes more sense if you've bombed a competition...or two. Just dividing by the number of competitions to get the averages (because of the different number of competitions): Yuzuru 120.23 -> 20.04 Shoma 102.13 -> 17.03 Patrick 84.11 -> 14.02 Javier 70.48 -> 14.10 Nathan 39.63 -> 6.61 Boyang 21.07 -> 4.21 Wow.
  10. LOL, that sounds like something like...say..."suspension of disbelief"? But then that is more a literary term than a sassy idiom.
  11. YES! I LOVED this program! Then again I always love Chopin. But I love everything here from the triple axel spread eagle sandwich (my husband) to all the invalidated jumps to the trolls complaining about the TES/PCS differential (seriously) to his reaction in the k&c (my profile pic) to the commentators melodramatically playing up the importance of Skate Canada and his "shocking" performance to everything about this being completely ridiculous. Maybe I wasn't a fan enough to have PTSD from this (as I already knew how the rest of the season was gonna play out) but I don't mind watching this skate over and over again haha. ETA: 2015 Skate Canada version Seimei was also really good. In some ways better than any others...his expression wow
  12. we should buy this for yuzu https://www.mytheresa.com/en-us/exclusive-to-mytheresa-com-embellished-metallic-leather-headphones-694065.html?cp=180991761&ag=14860719321&crid=62650449081&gclid=CPLEnbb8_NMCFRVrfgod8DsNRg jk
  13. Chopin is damn perfection. The most perfect figure skating program ever. It leaves me speechless every time.
  14. They are both varied... I can't think of any more, maybe arms out to the front or side? Maybe Evgenia will try jumping with her leg above her head.
  15. At least he has the record. But Chopin vs. Malaguena?? um
  16. ugh and he doesn't have the interpretation record. chopin is the best interpreted program ever, PUHLEAZE
