It could have happened, but nerves, pressure, timing, peaking time, etc. all matter, so we don't know if it would have actually happened in a real competition. If WTT counted maybe Yuzu would have done fewer media trips after winning Worlds, delayed his peaking time, been a bit more risky with potential overtraining, etc. Maybe Shoma and Nathan (who was clearly nervous at Worlds) would have felt more pressure. Etc. Butterfly effect!

IKR? It's really a useless competition. No one talks about how Yuzu actually won over everyone at WTT in 2015 after he lost the world title. Because that's just silly

Yup, that would be a huge blow. Needless to say, it's exactly what happened in 2013 and we all know how that turned out. No way he'll let that happen easily on his watch. The Worlds after Olys is usually chill and many Olympic medalists don't even go. It's actually a good time to grab a medal/win for a lot of skaters who might not have a chance otherwise.

He nailed 4lz at unopened practice. During the practice, he tried 4lz 5 times. First time, he landed with the strength of right leg although he lost balance. The rest three times' turned 1lz though, he showed the possibility of success of his fourth quad. Eta, thanks @Floria!

It's actually super insane how much more expensive first class tickets are versus economy. Like 30x? I remember laughing when I booked a ~$100 ticket and it was like "Would you like to upgrade to business class for $3,623 more?" Uhm, no? I think first class/business class exists so that the airline can upgrade loyal flyers/companies can fly people they want to impress etc. And the prices are there to make it LOOK impressive. Like hey, being a gold member is worth $XXXXX a year! But nobody would pay that for themselves. Or maybe I'm just a plebeian But yeah...if ANA doesn't fly him first class, that's be incredibly ironic. And stupid
