Salve a tutt*,

Negli scorsi giorni mi sono persa le novità emerse dal primo evento di FaOI e non è facile stare dietro al thread dedicato agli show, nè a quello generale per capirci qualcosa. Non so se qualcuno/a di voi può chiarirmi le idee qui.

Se ho ben capito, tra quanto ha mostrato/accennato da Yuzuru e quanto detto da Shirota il programma corto per la prossima stagione sarà uno Chopin, rivisitato e probabilmente aumentato in difficoltà/BV? Quanto questa cosa è certa e definitiva? e secondo voi qual sarebbe il layout più probabile?

Yes, they are allo so beautiful: it will be hard to choose.

For what you propose @yuzuangel just my opinion: 1 week voting is not enough, considering that is off season (also if FaOI is approaching...) and some people cannot/will not read the forum for some days, and also that this forum is huge and some threads risk to be not so immediately visible (see the example of some polls).

So I will consider to give us 2 weeks ...

What I do not understand of this poll is why the number expressed next to the title is higher than the actual votes, or so it seems. For example: now next to the title is written "118 members have voted" while down under I count only 111 votes

More, the poll is interesting (apart the questions of gender already mentioned), but I do not know how many members have seen it. I do not know if it would be better to make a post with a link in the general Yuzuru chat thread.

Sulla possibile aggiunta del Lutz da parte di Yuzuru, mi pare che ci stiano mettendo un poco la mano sul fuoco tutti: la differenza è che secondo alcuni lo inserirà subito per farlo diventare consistente il prima possibile, mentre altri prospettano che lo alleni ma lo possa inserire in un secondo momento durante la stagione, a seconda di come andrà e  di come procederanno anche gli altri "top five men".

Io non ho l'esperienza e la conoscenza di Yuzuru di altre che seguono questo thread, che invito a intervenire su questo, ma da quel poco che so, mi pare poco probabile che si alleni per un salto per poi inserirlo solo ad un certo punto se necessario. Anche perché come ha detto lui stesso in una delle ultime interviste, se prova costantemente il 4Lutz ciò destabilizza il suo triplo.

Del resto anche con il 4Loop/Ritt abbiamo visto che, nonostante i problemi di salute nella scorsa stagione e l'allenamento ridotto in estate, ha optato  - e giustamente - per un inserimento fino dalle prime gare per raggiungere i bei livelli che abbiamo visto nel pieno e alla fine della stagione.

Il Ritt in combinazione nel corto è un'opzione assai probabile (ma allora perché non anche nel libero?), ma anche su questo vorrei davvero sapere cosa ne pensate.

Mi fa piacere che ci sia un'altra/o utente del nostro paese in questo forum, con cui chiaccherare di Yuzuru e di pattinaggio artistico sul ghiaccio in italiano. E tra l'altro che vive nella mia stessa regione,  così povera di occasioni per parlare queste cose, oltre che per sperimentarlo: ....o sono io che sono disinformata ?

Just to know, because you know the skaters and FS in general better than me, most of you are thinking that the two sposts for the Olympcs will be given to Satoko and Marin?

If Satoko will recover well - thing that we all hope and wish her - one spot will be sure hers, but the second one?

I know that we can't consider properly the scores at this year WTT, but Mai scored very close to the PB of Marin several times also at International competitions. Unfortunately Wakaba this year had very lower score, but really the girl has the potential to do so better than this. Plus Marin had to handle the difficulties of the passage in the senior ranks (it will be in this season, right?) and she proved to be very sensitive to the pressure.

So, what do you bet it will happen?

What I really don't understand about this people is how do not they recognise Yuzuru's greatness and overall "roundness". You can dislike maybe his style or his costumes, but about his technique and SS as well as his artistry and musicality it is no possible to be so biased and blind .

Lys: Mi dispiacerebbe se Shae-Lynn che in tre anni ha tirato fuori tre capolavori uno completamente diverso dall'altro (sì, sono una che ritiene anche POTO un programma splendido, purtroppo dal potenziale non sfruttato in pieno a causa della stagione che fu) non completasse il quadriennio, ma se David sarà sono sicura che le regole del gioco a questo giro sono ben chiare a tutti.

Senz'altro, come faceva ben capire anche nell'intervista.

Infatti: erano varie riflessioni "ad alta voce" sul tema, piuttosto :)

Non trovo le interviste di TSL (aka da me soprannominato The Skating Lies) particolarmente illuminanti.

Neppure io, in generale; talvolta però le persone intervistate dicono cose interessanti, come nel caso di DW.

Sicuramente la situazione è diversa: sono passati alcuni anni e, soprattutto, Yuzuru è cresciuto come atleta e come persona. Chiunque sia il suo coreografo/a per il programma libero, Yuzu certamente avrà una parte attiva nella scelta di musica e programma, come pare abbia sempre fatto da POTO in poi.

Lo stesso DW però nella stessa intervista con TSL aveva detto che secondo lui era importante per un coreografo lavorare più anni con un atleta per comprendersi meglio a vicenda e costruire programmi che funzionassero davvero (accusando invece i giapponesi riguardo a questo di fare "shopping" un poco in qua e in là :eh:). Non so se la sua esperienza pregressa e l'Ex di questo anno potrebbero essere sufficienti in tal senso.

Vero è che sempre nella stessa intervista David aveva detto abbastanza esplicitamente che gli sarebbe parecchio piaciuto provare di nuovo a lavorare con Yuzuru, ora che era ulteriormente migliorato in fatto di postura e soprattutto di "stamina". E anche che la scelta di far coreografare a lui l'Ex della stagione appena conclusa probabilmente non è fine a se stessa.

Yes, this is said to be her FS for this season, I'm just confused by Misha's words lol but yeah, we can expect Por una Cabeza. I don't think it's choreographed by Misha but by other choreographer who came to Korea before to Team Chi (that Eunsoo is in) but I forgot his name. Io sinceramente spero che il free sarà ancora opera di Shae - Lynn. Notte Stellata è una meraviglia, però non sono molto convinta su David Wilson per la coreo del free della stagione olimpica.

Completamente d'accordo. L'unica cosa che potrebbe motivare - forse - l'intervento di Wilson è la sua esperienza in fatto di Olimpiadi (programmi adatti per l'occasione, ovvero giuria & pubblico).

Comunque sulla carta le scelte musicali che stanno emergendo dai più diretti rivali di Yuzu sono piuttosto...come dire? :acceptable:

Quindi spero proprio che lui e il suo team scelgano musiche piuttosto originali, come nelle ultime due stagioni, e che sappiano valorizzare al meglio il suo enorme talento.
