I wonder if Masquerade might be his FS now that we know Shae choreographed it. I thought it was suspicious that he would jump a lone 3F in an EX or SP. We only ever see that in his FS, right? ETA Well, that shut me right up!

I’m just laughing and laughing, in disbelief that “I couldn’t land 4Lz because I did too many 4As” is a real thing. I mean, I worry for ankles but this is just an unbelievable reality!

He was landing quad lutz beautifully in practice but sprained his ankle and couldn’t skate for 10 days before the shows???? Someone please correct me if I’m wrong!

Update: The leather for the Masquerade costume was just too hot and heavy to wear. (Such a shame.) He changed the choreo for both Masquerade and Crystal Memories (the two seen ti be twins) last night during practice so look forward to it!

I’m not sure the question asked but Yuzu said he wants to protect his fans. ETA I’m not sure if it’s known on the planet but for the past few days on Japanese Twitter, some fans have been attacking fan artists saying they should keep things to themselves/not draw Yuzu as Shinji. Apparently Yuzu knew all about it (he looks at Twitter) and said he loves fan art!

He seems to be workshopping it too much for it just to stay at FaOI and I’d love to see it more fleshed out (it still felt a bit empty to me in Sendai) but I don’t know how he can balance such a moody and intense SP with whatever he chooses for his FS. I’m really desperate to see something fast and upbeat, though. I miss LGC with all my heart and the taste of fun from Midsummer Night’s Dream really got me hooked again.

Didn’t Brian say when Yuzu first moved to him he spoke next to no English and Brian would have to get an interpreter on the phone during training? Iirc he was impressed by how agreeable Yuzu was at first until he realised he was just saying “yes” to everything because he couldn’t understand anything. I guess Shoma being older than Yuzu at the time of the switch would make it a trickier problem.
