Ah Riku and Ryuichi did so well in the free, they really are so good together! Gold for them, well deserved.

Ohhhhh gosh...I hope this is a sensible way forward and not a big mistake....I know athletes deal with pain all the time but she is so young and hopefully has many years left to compete so is there really such a need to be increasing difficulty whilst she still has pain? (says a Yuzu fan lol!!!)

I went to watch Rika again, I really felt it was a beautiful performance, I love that her whole body expresses the music. For me it was the best free skate to watch today. (I wish I could see the whole rink as Rika looked to have good speed and flow today) I meant to look at her last 3S but forgot as I was so absorbed...I will try again!! I don't mean to diminish Rinka, technically she did a more complex programme and she is also lovely to watch and deserves the Gold. I am just so happy to see Rika back and looking so happy with herself after the free, I missed her.

I hope Rika isn't hurt...Yuzu noticed, so will she, but maybe she has learnt to accept this is just how things are now. Anyway just so pleased to see her back and looking delighted with her skate.

Wow Rinka fantastic with a great 3A too! Japanese women have gorgeous SS... tho did she get same PCS as Rika?? I hope not... EDIT she DID get same (ish) PCS - the linking of TES to PCS continues unabated...

Thanks for posting! It's amazing to see these children that we have seen with Yuzuru grow into budding potential champions themselves. I am so impressed with Mone and how she skates, really beautiful. She is so talented. And Shun, didn't he appear at a gala when he was about 9 maybe, and Yuzu patted his head, he also has so much potential I think, overlooked maybe because of Yuma. I was at GPF 2019 and saw his amazing freeskate it was just fantastic...some consolation for what happened to Yuzuru there. I also wonder what happened to that little boy with asthma that Yuzuru spoke to and skated with (I can't remember what TV programme it was, maybe 24 hour tv but I am not sure)...is my memory serving me correctly?? I don't trust it always!

I'm sorry folks, watching Yuzu Skating Party today meant another Limerick poem appearing to me out of the White and Purple ether, unbidden.... Today I sat chilling in "Ma Maison" and watched a Divine Man skate "Raison", dressed in Purple and White and an Aura of Light, t'was Yuzuru, he really can "SLAY-son"!!

...and I like this even less than the post above! Yes Kamila is protected as a child, but all the responsible adults are protected too as a result!
