Thanks for posting! It's amazing to see these children that we have seen with Yuzuru grow into budding potential champions themselves. I am so impressed with Mone and how she skates, really beautiful. She is so talented. And Shun, didn't he appear at a gala when he was about 9 maybe, and Yuzu patted his head, he also has so much potential I think, overlooked maybe because of Yuma. I was at GPF 2019 and saw his amazing freeskate it was just fantastic...some consolation for what happened to Yuzuru there. I also wonder what happened to that little boy with asthma that Yuzuru spoke to and skated with (I can't remember what TV programme it was, maybe 24 hour tv but I am not sure)...is my memory serving me correctly?? I don't trust it always!

I'm sorry folks, watching Yuzu Skating Party today meant another Limerick poem appearing to me out of the White and Purple ether, unbidden.... Today I sat chilling in "Ma Maison" and watched a Divine Man skate "Raison", dressed in Purple and White and an Aura of Light, t'was Yuzuru, he really can "SLAY-son"!!

...and I like this even less than the post above! Yes Kamila is protected as a child, but all the responsible adults are protected too as a result!

Thanks Windpowerasmagic!! It's a better article than I thought it might be! But I agree that the "arguably the most well rounded skater" statement should just not bother with the "arguably" bit! However, we have to accept that others don't all share our view (even though they are wrong lol!!)

He really expresses himself well despite saying he doesn't lol! I like how he is so open about the need to feel both positive and negative emotions, they are proof that we are alive after all, proof of living and engaging. Such emotional intelligence, much appreciated during those difficult periods of isolation and lockdown. In fact, many of us live a more isolated life now and we are still in the pandemic, so these words still resonate imo.

Ah I love these pics and info from Zhang Hina - we know Yuzuru is such a gentleman, but he seems a "people first" kind of guy to me, not just "ladies"....he just knows how to/wants to treat people well and with courtesy.

Sorry if already posted, I missed it! but I just found this fancam of Origin at SCI 2019 - it was only posted this Aug - seeing something so familiar from a different angle, and seeing the better perspective that fancams give of the rink size and ice coverage and speed, is really great, ah I love it I am going to watch it again now! It's a beautiful theatrical dance and I cant think of another skater who could possibly do this programme jumping and landing quads and triples as beautiful parts of the choreography, as are all the elements. In Mar 2018, when Yuzu announced his CWW shows, me and my then 15 year old had already booked a 10 day trip to Japan, flying home 14.4.18. I had a hotel booking made. The only requirement from the proxy was I have a Japanese address to send the tickets to - I gave the hotel name and that's where Japanconcerttickets,com sent them. They were paper, so no need for phones. They entered the lottery, paid, and invoiced me in the UK. Jun's name was on the ticket but he e mailed me instructions about what to do if this was an issue at the venue - it wasn't.
