Tbh the idea of 4Lz scares me, because we haven't seen any properly landed 4Lz yet. And we haven't seen Chopin with 4Lo in competiton yet. And after SP at ACI I thought that probably he could keep this layout and still get great enough scores without taking too much risk. After all the SP caused so much trouble last season.

I guess he believes that it's perfectly possible to win without it. And he is probably right.

You can't please everybody, but he has much more fans then haters. If Japanese media wants to push Shoma so be it, less pressure for Yuzu. And Shoma seems smart enough not to play their game of rivalries. I am not sad about the silver, I am sad about all the nasty comments he'll get because of it. And probably I will agree that he will never be as consistent as Medvedeva for a variety of reasons. But Zhenya's skating will never take my breath away.

I can't say I feel happy right now but two WR at ACI would have scared me actually. I think it was Brian's plan to make the first competition not so easy to win. I hope it works and the lesson is learned. If you are a true fanyu you are condemned to suffer from time to time. And to feel the overwhelming happiness from time to time also.

They didn't stream practices last year for ACI, but they did for Skate Canada iirc.

Nathan planned layout is to do 4Lz and 4F3T in the 2nd half. In an interview a few days ago he said he would jump less quads in the beginning of the season. So it explains yesterday's 3Lz. ETA this layout's BV should be impressive
