It seems like he and Brian got their stories straight and both have now said Yuzu can change his plan since they have a few to work with... I like it when they have a strategy planned in advance, even when it's just something like what they are going to say to the media...

I didn't mean to say I don't believe he is feeling that good, just that I hope that he really is... and the press would eat it up alive if he showed negativity. I obviously have no idea. I hope he actually feels as good as he is projecting to the world. If he came in looking less than confident and downcast, that news would be swirling around even more than this good news is... then the stories would fly, press machines would be working overtime about a negative outcome here... he has to project confidence upon arrival. Javi is thinking, omg, what yuzu has to deal with.... yuzu was probsbly dressed all in casual stuff as usual but changed like a good superstar into his official arrival outfit.... they were probably all relaxing on the plane and then were like ok, yuzu, now it is show time..... we'll sneak right....

I am sick in bed and bored, so I checked Pearson departures and a direct AC flight to Seoul left at around 12:30 eastern time today (sat)...and tomorrow a flight is scheduled for around 11:30 am... I didnt check their estimated arrival times. We dont know if he is going straight there or heading to Japan first, but I am sure J media will be all over it. CBC news was doing a little feature on lyrics in skating and the reporter said Yuzuru Hanyu from Japan doesnt really like it in his competitive programs because it distracts him when he iscsetting up for a big element, just fyi. So surprised to have them mention him, lol.

The hype machine is working, lol... but once yuzu physically arrives... and those poor misguided souls actually see him on the ice, they will realize their folly.... Well, Toronto is getting 3 days of snow that wont stop until Sunday night, so hopefully there will not be any delays in departures from the airport.... yuzu and javi need to get there to really make things exciting!!!!

I am sure he could sit there. In Canada's box last night they had everyone, even Larkyn Austman, and I doubt she will skate instead of Kaetlyn or Gabby.

They are a wonderful team. I am sure they get great love and recognition privately (and public acknowledgment) from their skaters, but to be appreciated by fans of skating for their coaching skills (as opposed to their well known skating achievements), would probably please them very much.

Too bad to hear about that hate and how people find a way to be so hurtful. These 2 skaters are totally different, not even competing against each other, or even really overlapping that much in their careers. It is like saying Katarina witt was better than Brian Boitano. Why bother comparing?? Just ignore. Social media is just too much.

So, do we know when Yuzu is leaving Toronto? I am thinking probably Sunday is a good bet... gives them time to get PC, get used to the time zone change and then be ready for practices...
