Wow. I also just watched Vincent's FS. There's so much similarity on music cuts .. really.. But yeah, yuzuru doesn't own that music but there must be a comparison for that, I'm sure. Vincent's fs more difficult than yuzuru's because of the jumps but I still feel the emptiness of his program. And also he much slower and stiff on ice. I hope he and his team fix it. It will be much difficult with the amount of quads. So good luck for Vincent.

I think this topic about ' Yuzu's BV vs higher BV from the youngsters' will never end. It doesn't mean I was against it. It was interesting. Haha As a fans, I think it was normal to feel anxious or worried whether yuzu's BV would be enough to win him a gold medal against those monstrous BV from the youngsters. But don't worry too much. Yuzu isn't stupid. He knows what's the best for him and what's the good plan to win him second ogm. Let's not worried too much, it's too soon. We don't even know what's his plan for his FS.

I think @meoima said this many times, in the end of the day the one who gets gold medal isn't the skater who had many quads but the skater who skates clean/cleanest ?/less mistakes.

I'm agree with you. Everything need process. Even yuzu who has natural talent in the sport, he needs times to polish his talent. Now I can see the differences on his skating back then when he was 17 and now he's 22. The skater needs time to reach the maturity and I remember one of commentator from cbc was saying that yuzu doesn't need it (time) anymore, he was there, he's own everything.

Yes, let's believe yuzu and his team. They know what's better plan to do. Just praying everything goes well in Olympic season. Btw, sorry a bit off topic, but is there another video like this one? This is really informative. I learn so much about this sport from this video.

I won't be pessimist, sure we can't predict who'll get the gold medal for next year coz there are top 6 in men discipline right now, but as @¯\_(ツ)_/¯ said (i was agree with her/him) IF Hanyu manages to build a good momentum and then skate his lights out with his layout on the Oly stage, he’s untouchable, even if everyone else in the field does the same, monster BV or no monster BV. I believe yuzu will be in his own league if he had the perfect skate like he did in Helsinki.

He always take attention to his weakness first while everyone else see his perfect tech/skills first. He really is a perfectionist. If in the future he could landed 4Lz and 4A perfectly, what else he want to improve? Or.. will he be satisfied and leave the sport when he's on top?

So this morning I wake up and do my routine, re-watching yuzu H&L in Helsinki. I ended up to watch this video Joe Hisaishi - View of Silence. I know H&L is beautiful, but oh my God, to listen and watching the full pieces of music 'View of Silence' got me in tears! It was beautiful.. I think I will continue to do my routine, to watch H&L every morning. Until yuzu announces his new FP this season... (Well, I hope it's new)

In my case, it's fine for me to watch him live or not because that wasn't affect him to win or not. SP or LP, once I watched him do well for his SP and then next competition he's doing bad. Same with the LP. So, basically the problem is in himself. I will just rooting for him to the fullest with live streaming or not. But I will try to watch him live if I can. He said he was depressed after his SP in Helsinki, but after that he was inspired by the voices of his fans and that made him believe in himself and do his best. And what's he get? World record! So don't afraid to watch him live ! Root for him so he can do his best!
