I am so sad and so shocked myself to hear the news: no nhk and no gpf means he is not going to get many competitions before olys to get the necessary mileage on his programmes. However I do think it is the right decision and that Yuzuru will be even more eager to show in February that he is far from being beaten up. It seems somehow that his path to glory must always be paved with hellish trials but I still have faith in him. It is in adversity that he thrives. All my prayers to him!

Yes he was. I always thought this version of Seimei was superior to the GPF one: even the moment he adjusts his sleeve is just super cool somehow ^^

Here's someone who's not a fan of the new seimei costume (actually his remarks were quite funny ^^). As for me I love the design but there's something bothering me with the size or the sleeves I don't know, it almost looks as if it is a tad too big for him. But anyway Yuzu is gorgeous as always, especially on those pics above.

I was looking forward to this! Thank you very much: it's been really moving and interesting to hear what he had to say about his crash at the cup of china. The part about Hana ni nare also got my interest: I ended up watching both programmes again with another perspective. How many episodes are there by the way? I thought the fourth was the last one but I am under the impression that there is more to come.

Here is the interview the pictures are taken from (God I had forgotten how insisting the interviewer had been about trying to have Yuzu promote Beijing for the next winter games, no wonder he made so many weird facial expressions! Poor Yuzu ! )

I feel exactly the same as you, and I've never watched Boston FS. I'm not sure I will ever... I felt devastated enough just to know what happened, so watching it would be too much, even though it's been a year and he won his title back.

I chose: - Notte Stellata: I love that deep V at the back and those feathery details on his hands and arms. He really looks like a beautiful swan who spreads his wings in it. - Chopin first version: I've always prefered the first version of this costume. The darker blue looks more elegant and I prefer the simplicity of it over the golden sides of the second version. And my favourite version of this programme is the one he did at the GPF 14. Seeing him smiling and soaring on the ice after that terrible incident a few month before has always been very moving to me. - R&J2: I love that costume. The first time I've seen Yuzu was in that costume at Sochi. I immediately thought that this skater must be special because few people would be able to pull out such an outfit and look absolutely regal in it. I love the mix between feminine and masculine and the gradient between black and white. - Hana ni nare: Such a beautiful outfit that matches the song so well. I love the kimono sleeves and the colours. - And finally I do agree with cherry on the Etude costume which I chose as well. I love the blue wave he embodies with it. Actually I've always been a bit disappointed with the H&L costume because it was a less good version of the Etude one to me (I'm not so fond of the green colour, although I ended up getting used to it).

Penso che questa voglia di integrare tanti elementi di passi e transizioni sia innanzitutto la volontà di Yuzuru. Lui è un perfezionista che ha un'idea ben definita di quello che dovrebbe essere un programma perfetto, cioè il misto perfetto tra tecnica e arte. E questa voglia lo distingue dagli altri perché non sceglie mai la facilità. Avrebbe potuto vincere più gare però come ha scelto di raggiungere il suo ideale piuttosto che la vittoria a volte ha dovuto inclinarsi in competizioni. Ecco perché lui è innanzitutto il detentore di tutti i record mondiali ma di solo due titoli di campione del mondo. Penso che Brian si sia opposto nel passato a questa voglia di Yuzu perché non poteva fisicamente fare tutto questo e perché a volte gli ha impedito di vincere, però adesso ha capito meglio la psicologia di Yuzu a si è rassegnato. Meglio penso che ha capito che alla fine gli obiettivi del suo straordinario allievo erano molto più ambiziosi della semplice vittoria. Ecco perché lui è già una leggenda.

Seguo Yuzu dal 2014 quando l'ho visto per caso sulla tivù a Sochi fare il programma libero (Mi sono innamorata subito anche se è caduto due volte. Aveva qualcosa che mi ha colpito: il modo in cui si muoveva, questo charisma che emanava di lui... E questa impressione non mi ha mai lasciato tre anni dopo ^^). L'ho visto dal vivo in Marsiglia in Dicembre. Ho visto solo il programma libero. Ho guardato solo lui durante il warm up e ero affascinata da come si muoveva ma anche dalla sua concentrazione: lui è nel suo mondo, parlando a se stesso. Avevo già visto tutto questo sulle video ma vederlo dal vivo è tutta un'altra cosa. E anche bellissimo: mi sembrava una bambola, quasi come se non fosse reale. Ma quello che mi piace con lui è che sembra così, ma poi cade o fa qualcosa che ti fa ricordare che dopo tutto lui è umano. Quando ha pattinato il suo programma ero tanto nervosa che sentivo il mio cuore battere più della musica. Poi ha completato i primi due salti e mi sono rilassata un po. Aveva un'espressione moto dolce sul viso e sorrideva agli giudici: questo era bello. Ma poi la sua caduta lui a rallentato molto e si è concentrato sui salti unicamente. Non era la sua migliore prestazione ma era molto commuovente per me perche lui si batteva proprio di fronte a me, e questo non si può provare lo stesso di fronte alla tivù. Quanto riguarda i miei programmi preferiti: - R&J1: WC versione. L'emozione che mi procura questo programma non ha uguale. Mi piace questo Yuzuru ancora non ben 'finito': sembra un diamante grezzo. - PW: GPF versione. Questo programma rivela per la prima volta un Yuzuru un po piu maturo e 'sexy', e si puo vedere l'evoluzione tra la prima stagione e la seconda. - Seimei: NHK versione. Questo programma dimostra perfettamente la forza e la leggerezza del suo pattinaggio. (Ecco, mi scuso per gli errori di lingua, non ho scritto cosi tanto in italiano da un tempo ! )

In the end I chose Romeo and Juliet 1 because I still get goosebumps when I watch his WC version. Parisienne Walkways is one I watched the most since I discovered Yuzu during Sochi Olympics so it still holds a special place to me (my favourite version is the GPF one). Seimei finally is one of his ficheese hole masterpieces that showcases his strength, lightness and agility (his NHK version is my favourite). These are the three programmes I usually show people when I want them to see Yuzu for the first time (I recently converted a friend of mine with those three programmes. His jaw dropped when I showed him PW and Seimei, and then I ended up giving him the last blow with R&J1 :D)

Dal centro ad Assago ci vogliono circa 30 minuti di metropolitana :) Grazie per le informazioni, penso di potere sbrogliarmi anche se non sono mai andata a Milano. Sara l'occasione di vedere questo famoso duomo ;)

Volevo domandarvi, chi pensa di andare ai Mondiali 2018? Vorrei andarci ma non mi sono bene informata sul posto esatto dove si svolgerà la competizione in Milano. Pensate che ci vuole prenotare l'albergo subito? Ci sono persone che dicono di farlo adesso perché gli alberghi accanto all'arena sono già pieni... Moi aussi j'ai déjà vu Yuzu live à Marseille: ça a été une expérience inoubliable de le voir en chair et en os. Surtout l'expression qu'il avait sur son visage en patinant la première partie de H&L. Vu que j'étais derrière les juges j'avais une très bonne vue :) J'aurais également voulu voir ce fameux pantalon violet de mes propres yeux mais je n'ai pas pu me libérer du travail le vendredi... J'aimerais beaucoup aller à Milan aussi pour le voir encore fois mais je ne me suis pas encore renseignée sur les billets ni l'hôtel d'ailleurs. Je ne pensais pas que c'était déjà complet! o:

Coucou, Je rejoins le club des francophones :) C'est vrai que ça me fait tout drôle de parler de Yuzu en français (et que moi aussi je m'éloigne le plus possible de Nelson et de ses commentaires très approximatifs ^^). Et pour répondre à Altie oui je trouve les commentaires suisses très bien, même s'il est rare de tomber dessus.
