It is the very phenomenon that undeniably occurs on the ice. His body moves across the rink, changing colors from red to blue to orange. The sound of blades carving ice, the rhythm of breath, the tremor at his fingertips. The audience find themselves present at the very moment his soul rises on the ice.

  17. Agree that, in its entirety, I really love it - hard to pick a favorite. Swim, Body to Body, Merry Go Round, They don't know 'bout us, Hooligan (Jack in the Box vibes), Like Animals, 2.0... The only one I can say I don't really like much is Aliens. I think that if Normal is going to be a MV, they'll need the "clean" version and not the explicit. It oddly unnerves me to hear Jin singing "shit".

He also spoke about changes he has felt through his ice show Notte Stellata, now in its fourth year. He also discussed his future role and mentioned younger skaters who performed at the Milano–Cortina Winter Olympics: men’s skater Shun Sato (Aim Services / Meiji University) and women’s skater Mone Chiba (Kinoshita Group). Below is the full exchange. (Interview conducted March 10. Interviewer: Hitoshi Kurasawa)
  19. As a general body of work, I absolutely love it. Every song makes sense. The production behind it is exceptional, very experimental a lot of times which I love to see. They're not following a single formula there and that's what makes it so special. On an individual song level, yes I have my favourites and my least favourites. Normal, Like Animal, Into the Sun, Body to Body, Swim are all up there. Alien for its message holds a special place. Hooligan makes me behave a bit psycho, not gonna lie. FYA and 2.0 only grew on me because of the live performances really but they are not my top picks. They both feel too repetitive to listen on its own, lyric wise. Although again, production is top notch. The remaining tracks are all a vibe, definitely not skipping them. I just love the harmonies in Like Animals between Tae, JK and Jin. I'm not the biggest fan of expressing who who is doing a better job, or who stands out the most. I'm the type that thinks that they all compliment each other so well and that it wouldn't hit the same had it been done any differently. They know where their talents lay, and how they can mesh them together to make something exceptional. It's amazing to see it.
