Rainna Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I don't really have a horse in this race but hoping they make it interesting Also, not from this match obviously, but I just stumbled upon it and I'm
LucyH Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 God I hate the way Suarez plays - no one touched your bloody head. Get up you wanker! C'mon CR7 and Portugal - you can do this!!!!!
yuzupon Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Whoah, no VAR for that? But, I mean. Congrats, Uruguay.
ralucutzagy Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Messi and Ronaldo are really out in the same day .... incredible ,,, Anyway, congrats, Uruguay and congrats, Cavani, man of the match!
yuzupon Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 A little OT, but look at what they have in the studio of commentators of nos.nl (where I watch WC): Spoiler A Dachshund!! So cute!!
sallycinnamon Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Cavani! I'm happy for them, congrats. They played better than Portugal today...sorry to see CR & co go though. @yuzupon the dog is cute
Winnie_20 Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Ahem, totally OT post: You are forgetting the most important thing: the dachshund is called Messi. For realsies, that’s his real name. He’s actually very famous in the Netherlands. He has been keeping the guests in the studio of NPO/NOS 1 (Dutch public TV main channel which airs all soccer championships) company since 2014 (every two years, Europeans and Worlds) and so has become a very popular dachshund. I, and with me many other viewers, only watch the Studio soccer program because of the doxie (why yes, I am a dachshund fan, hard not to, it’s in my genes). The dog has his own Facebook and instagram accounts, plus a fanrun Facebook page and a twitter. funny thing; it’s the world’s best kept secret who Messi belongs to. Contrary to popular belief, he is not Hugo Borst’s dog. Various other names do the rounds, but... it’s probably a smart thing that his owner(s) keeps it quiet. ;-)
Coquelicot Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Very late post, but I only got to watch France-Argentina just recently, and all I can say is what a match!!! Pavard's goal was a thing of beauty! And what a way for Mbappe to make an entrance on the international scene! Hopefully the next games will be just as exciting!
