The Yokoi sisters attempted a 3A at the Chubu Regionals. Yuhana fell on her 3A, which was downgraded, and Kinayu's 3A was under-rotated.

Oh Sota.... his story hits me so hard because of how swiftly and cruelly an injury can rob him of all those years of hard work and all that wonderful potential and talent. Take care and recover well bb, 2022 still waits for you 

 

Just quickly translating Sota's words:

 

(In Pt 1) 'For so many years before my injury, the Olympics was somewhere I absolutely wanted to go, somewhere I had to go. Because of that (because I've come to this point), it's hard to give up, even if I would have normally given up by now'.

 

(Pt 2) 'Because all the guests/audience sent me warm applause and voices, it was a joyful skate. There's still a long period (ahead) where I'll have to keep working hard, so I want to work hard to answer to my fan's support.'
