yuzupon
The video is choppy and missing the opening position, but here's Mai: The program now has more of a shape than the last time. Her 3-3 is a true 3-3 in here, and the 3-jump combo is back. She is a truly amazing athlete. I am still watching behind my fingers cz she is just still too frail looking, but gurl, you got this!! Here's Kaori: Considering her 2 stumbles, and also 1 pop (last jump, her usually reliable gorgeous 3Lo), I am a bit ??? at the 'barely 1 point (0.54 to be exact) below Mai' score. I find her movements also a bit more haphazardly executed this time. I think it's the, what was it, 3 times? of still-posturing (as in part of the choreo when she stop skating and just do posturing) in the choreo. Surely it messes a bit with her momentum and she then had to work hard recovering it in order to do the jumps. The 2nd half of that skate is a bit of a mess. That said, the program suit her powerful skating so much.

Paskud
Sota Quote Since I broke the quadruple toe loop in the second half, the way I took the axis was off. Before I jumped, I was so nervous that I was scared even though I was getting off in practice. However, I managed to step on while my body was not moving. There was a "feeling of wanting to win". At last year's western Japan I was second. I had a strong feeling that I would definitely win. All the spins and steps were level 4 (highest rated), so I was able to win by accumulating 0.** and how many points. I've lost confidence in getting results since I was injured. But lately, I've become more confident in myself and I'm no longer scared. I've lost confidence, but I've returned to this point. I felt a lot of regret, and although I may still be on a steep road, I never gave up even in practice. https://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/202010310000812.html Ryuju Quote Of course, I wanted to be in the top three. When I heard everyone's score later, I thought, 'If I do my best, I'll be able to do it,' but I wonder if it wasn't that day today. It can't be helped. The All Japan Championship (Nagano) in December will be the 12th consecutive year of participation. "I'm happy to be able to come out again simply," he said. "The 10th and 11th times have become strange all-Japan (14th and 13th), so I have a strong feeling of revenge this year." However, he declared that his goal was "single digit ranking". Recently, he practiced from 4 to 5 days a week to 6 days a week. "That makes me tired, so I think it's better to take a little more rest. It's difficult to balance, but I found it difficult to practice too much at this tournament." https://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/202010310000926.html Yuhana Quote I was almost crying because I had a feeling that I couldn't do it anymore. I'm really relieved. The coach seemed to call out to each jump and I wondered if the teacher was fighting with me. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/10/31/kiji/20201031s00079000504000c.html Kaori Quote Honestly, I thought it was a'pathetic performance'. I was able to do it as usual in the first half, but it collapsed in the second half. It's the most pitiful thing that I've done this kind of skating in public. I'm more confident in free than short (SP). After finishing the step and spin in the middle stage "I've got a lot of thoughts. I haven't really thought about this, but I'd like to slow down a little and make sure I can jump." The momentum of the characteristic was lost, which led to the disorder of the jump. I thought, 'I can't help saying that.' It's important to have the NHK Cup and all Japan (championship) with no mistakes. After that, I want to update my personal best for both short and free with my own skating. https://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/202010310001295.html Mana Quote The triple axel was not in good condition and changed to double just before the performance. Because I became a high school student, I want to be more beautiful. I think there are things I can do, unlike when I was a junior. I want people to be more conscious and say, 'This player is beautiful'. Now I have a ballet teacher look at the choreography, and I am practicing with attention to detail rather than big movements such as how to use my hands. https://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/202010310001370.html Mai Quote I'm happy with the result, but I'm disappointed with my performance. I don't have the strength to skate with top-level athletes, the power of jumps, the spin, and the dynamics of steps. I think I still have a lot to practice. I missed all the GP series that I was planning to participate in last season. I was watching TV at home and the feelings of "the people on the stage are amazing" and "I want to go out" were increasing. [about Kaori:] I haven't reached the point where I can say 'rivals'. I want to do my best to aim for the top together. https://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/202010310001337.html Quote I have no muscles at all. Since only a part of my muscles are easy to get tired, I have to stretch and have a trainer take care of me so that I can move the next day. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/10/31/kiji/20201031s00079000479000c.html Yuna Quote I was able to calm down and skate powerfully without losing tension. I became confident. I want to improve the accuracy so that I can perform cleanly in 100 shots. I am aiming for clean performance in both SP and free. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/10/31/kiji/20201031s00079000493000c.html Rin Quote I was able to do exactly what I practiced. I enjoyed the game from start to finish. I was able to do no mistakes in practice. It was a game that made me happy to continue competing. The dream I was about to give up was "I want to go to the NHK Cup." It takes a couple of years to get there, [so she doesn't want to retire after this season.] https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/10/31/kiji/20201031s00079000468000c.html
