I'm looking forward to seeing the scoring patterns at US Classic, especially on the ladies. I want to see how many skaters the judges might want to bring close enough to Zhenya this season to make the fight for medals more exciting. I mean, before it was a given the fight would always be for the silver medal but maybe there's going to be attempts at making it less of an expected outcome.

I don't think Lombardia has much to do with making things more exciting. Daniil actually outright said that the judges weren't strict and that they're waiting to see how Alina is going to be scored in the next competition. If it is simply the scores going wild, Zhenya's will go wild too.

let's hope Lombardia is not a precedent then

So how close to a perfect score will Zhenya be getting in that case?

I actually wouldn't be surprised if we saw the WTT score for her at the Olympics then and we really really don't need that

oh! Here we go.

So Marin is returning to her last season's short program or it's just until her new one is ready? I read somewhere on twitter that her new SP isn't ready ...

Last I read her new SP by Marina isn't ready so it's her old one here but tbh, I would not be surprised at all if she ended up with her old one for the entirety of the season.

Yeah, she's doing Smile here since she changed her SP recently and choreography isn't ready.

Ouch.
