February 10, 20233 yr Final four: Keegan briught his good energy, and brought the house down. Fell on the opening 4T but still finished top 5 Junhwan: i nearly cried when he fell on the combo. Kao: judges were not kind to him. Shun: fell on the opening jump, otherwise lovely
February 11, 20233 yr The Japanese girls did well. Congrats Mone for her the medal on her very first major senior international competition. I gotta say tho, again, Rinka was robbed to hell and back How the hell did Bradie get 67 PCS for her Greta voiceover program while Rinka got only 63? A shame on the singled Lutz, but great fight getting the 3A. I'm a bit worried about Hana, that's a lot of calls on her protocol. That said, altitude can be nasty, so I should give her some slack. The Korean girls also did very well. Congrats Haein on the 4CC gold. Chaeyeon is such a star. Really reminds me of Kaori for having such a distinctive style right off the batch. A bit sad for Yelim, but she got on the podium nonetheless, so there's that. Isabeau tho, I hope she gets well soon. It should be fine in no time if she just got some flu, but if something happened to her due to her terrible jumping techniques, her coaches should meet me in the parking lot.
February 12, 20233 yr Shun did so well but Chris touting what magnificent techniques Shun has and then proceeding to talk about his 4Lz doesn't sound quite right...
February 12, 20233 yr Can we have no more competitions on altitude because... On that note, never ever use rinks in Colorado Spring for any FS competitions again.
February 12, 20233 yr Jun and Boyang broke my heart today, but watching Keegan skate so well and Kao do such a great job was healing.
February 12, 20233 yr Concern from Rocker Skating about the state of many competitors at the end of their sets. It was bad in the pairs but the men seemed even worse. The altitude was really affecting the skaters. Some on their knees at the end of their routines. Most notably Boyang who was gasping for air towards his end moves and literally went flat as he finished. He raised wobbling and looked about to faint. Very worrying and something the ISU needs to address for the health of their competitors.
February 12, 20233 yr What a hell of a competition. Top 3 skates were just supurb. My boy Shun's set so breezily skated. Great 4Lz to start then 4T 2T light as anything. Only minor issue slight travel in last spin. The short really let him down sadly. Keegan. A humdinger of a skate. Controlling his huge jumps. A tremendously high death drop to FCSP4. He was smiling ... really enjoying the skate and the moment. 4T way deep the 3A spectacularly saved. Crowd went mad to his final spread eagles and hydro. He's quality. Phone out in the kiss and cry as usual. A proud dad. What can I say about Kao. Exciting but wild. We jokingly call him chaotic Kao. Not tonight we don't. Amazing SP followed by a wonderfully confident FS. Forward on the opening 4S hung on to the 3A after that he put everything out there (plus a beauty of a 4T) to win that Gold. SP marks helped and there we go. Kao survived both programmes, was confident, jumps were on ... unbelievably spins were too. Well done Kao. Flipping Fantastic. ❤❤❤

Other than that, he did well. PS: He got a call on his Flip(!), rightfully so, but not on his Flutz, heh..
