sweetwater
I love spiders because they eat mosquitoes and baby roaches. They are my ally. I love house lizards for same reason.

Yes. Male mosquitoes are worse. Female one are easier to kill. In my family, I rank #1 at killing mosquitoes But yeah, just one mosquito can ruin your sleep. Haha its true. Its like vs . Actually I can handle mosquitoes at home (not too many, ok), since you can do everything, even dance the tango while catching them . But at workplace, you can't leave your chair just to chase them, especially I work at front desk

Geckos are so cute! I absolutely adore them, and always protect them from my cats, whom regularily bite their tails off. Lucky them because they grow back. 15 minutes ago, Katt said: Haha its true. I do not the english correct expression for this, but I mean cold wraps around the lower part of the legs ( calves?). One cloth with really cold water, a dry cloth around it. Repeat every half hour when the fever is running really high. Brings temperature down usually, as most of the body's blood is in the legs at any given minute. In hospitals, they make these wraps for temperatures over 39 degrees celsius, when it is a non- bacterial- infection without need for antibiotics. Being a doctor, I did this with my patients a lot of times. Hope you get well soon, raebia

Cleaning was basically pouring water on the floor and waiting for it to drip to a canal below. So I spilled the water and then my nightmare begun, through the sewage-like grates in this stupid floor, water went up and created fountains with cockroaches. Whole floor was flooded with this huge black bastards and I was standing in the middle of this. The sound they make when you trample on them is mortifying... ....gives me the chills. I probably would have died of a heart attack My deepest respect!

raebia
...and yeah, you nearly died, but you stayed and put them out with your feet, and this I think was absolutely brave, honestly!! I am quite sure I would have run.
