I watched soulite (i think thats sean?), asian entertainment, hybe boy and another one that popped up in my feed, but haven't found it again, cause it was not something I normally watch🫤. Will share if I find it again.

The next big date is the 25ths, when the judge will rule over mhj's last injunction......

So much waiting.

But a piece of wisdom-

Love that Hobi will be throwing out the first pitch (I had copied the same tweet but you beat me to it...)  A couple of things - a YouTube video purporting JK was on leave 2 days ago. That can't be true.

And news about NJ, which may or may not be true.  I can't figure out who to believe on X anymore.

Hi Beomgyu.....wait, what???

Thats Jin?!?

That, was my first reaction, lol🤣

Mine, too.  Obviously a wig - I always thought blond Jin is my least favorite Jin-look, but will try to be open minded about it.  With wigs in mind, I think maybe the burgundy tones to his hair when he welcomed Hobi's discharge (and almost matched his Gucci outfit) may well have been a wig, too.  I don't know how long his hair is right now but it wouldn't be the first time (Astronaut).  The hair and wig people at Hybe are the best.

I quite like blonde Jin! They found the right tone for his skin so it works. Also, using a wig is much more sensible than bleaching the heck out of his hair

I'm pretty sure he nixed the idea of having his hair bleached out a couple of years before he enlisted.

And the person who posted the JK video on YouTube did not like that I disputed the veracity of this happening over the past couple of days.  Someone else posted that it had a time date on sometime in 2023.  And Seventeen left on the 20th for their tour.  Still, love JK.

really???? :eeking:

I'm finding this hard to believe. I've seen some stories about Western celebrities who've gotten a preview of Jin's album praising Jin, which I'm pretty sure are fake stories by Seokjinnies to try to promo him and I wonder if this is another one.

Have other people had a chance to try the Laneige cream skin yet? I've recently completely overhauled my skin care routine and still working on kinks (trying to fade dark spots so skin is getting irritated by retinol/tretinoin) so I can't tell. It feels nice and I like it for my skin rest days since my current night moisturizer has retinol, but not sure if I should recommend it to people at the price point.

It's a nice tone of blonde for him but I hate the wig style. Blonde Jin should be bad ass looking and show some forehead. I'm not a huge fan of the fluffy shag on him in general

ETA: I'm a little disappointed that he's not in green. Someone pointed out that his 1st 2 promo looks was similar to Alvin and Simon and was hoping to see Theodore, lol.

Other Kpop talk

Spoiler

@Faithyu Do you still listen to BP? What do you think of their solos? I like their solo songs in reverse order of their popularity. Lisa's best solo song is the watered down remake of that old song. I can't even finish any of her other solo songs.  For a second I thought maybe I'd like the Rosalia collab, but I think DJ Jino influenced me because when I tried to listen to it on its own, I shut it off less than half way through.

Jennie's "Mantra" and Rose's "Apt", while not particularly meaningful, are good for what they're trying to be, which surprised me since I haven't liked their singing voices in other songs I've heard from them. I enjoyed Jennie's song with Zico as well, in spite of not really liking the tone of her voice.

Yes, I finally opened mine and tried it yesterday. I love it.  it's the perfect weight of moisturizer for my (used-to-be-oily-but-starting-to-get-dry-in-middle-age) skin after I cleanse in the morning, and the moisture lasted all day. My only complaint is that I wish I had the pump spray bottle. It really is too liquidy to apply easily without a spray.

I've tried it and am sold after just a few days.  I wasn't expecting it to be as thin as it is (so, yes, a spray would be nice for plain moisturizing) but II found, immediately, that it's toner side is outstanding. Much better than any toner I've used for removing dirt you were sure would have been gone after washing.  And leaves a smooth moisturizing finish.  And, oddly, if II go down my neck with the cotton pad, onto the upper part of my chest, the moisturizing there is exceptional.  So for one squirt onto a cotton pad, my skin gets super clean and my face, neck and upper chest are soft.  I am surprised at its effectiveness, really.  I do use sunscreen cream over it during the day.

Unfortunately, my skin has not become as flawless as Jin's.  But I just started it and am also not a 31 yr old Korean who is genetically blessed and has taken care of his skin for at least a decade.
