They can't (at least not journalists) because they will all claim that they have sources and those sources have lied to them, and if that person decides to remain anonymous there is no way BigHit knows who it was. Why now????? Of course, MHJ - probably with the help of Lee Seonmyung. BTS will be able to withstand any bad press and speculation that comes from this while they are proved innocent. I am not happy to be missing our members on a daily basis, but I am very pleased that they are not anywhere that press or bad actors can harass them. Of course it could be that MHJ made some "calls", but it feels like everyone who has something against Hybe/bts tries to get their chance and add harm to it, cause they see Hybe in a vulnurable situation and the biggest asset Hybe has is Bts (who are in the military and can't do damage control). The things they spread don't even need to be true, a false rumor is also damaging and all these accusations are piling up right now, which is not good. If you add a lot of bad news on a certain subject, a bad taste and some form of mistrust often remains (even if prooven false). So this whole thing that started with an intern affair regarding Ador is bejond escalating. I hope they can stop all off this real fast..... Not just BTS but BigHit. And why would they even have tried to manipulate charts? They had already won Best Rookie, a couple of Bonsangs, and, notably, the Daesang in 2016. 2016. So why would a group who is being wildly successful and gaining popularity already, resort to something illegal, unsavory and unnecessary? They never needed to manipulate charts- especially after proving themselves the best, the winners, in all the Asian music awards, as early as 2013 ( and already getting notice in other countries - MTV European awards in 2015 and 2016.) I hope this is addressed quickly, I think that it's Hybe's policy to not even acknowledge lies and slander and false accusations until they feel it's impacting the artists.
