#103087 in the queue here.  That'll just be my new ARMY name.  Fortunately, @rockstaryuzu has lots of Toronto friends and Canadians got actual seats (iwas nearly 90000 for the Toronto show- I swear, TM hates me).  And it would be more fun to be with firends,.  Amy posted on Instagram that she has tickets but didn't say where.  She has crazy luck with tickets anyway.  In addition to Toronto, I am looking today at El Paso - good seats, reasonable resale prices - and also Boston.

 

I have a dearest friend in end of life care in NOva Scotia after another stroke so feeling very low and sad today.  And feel for Andrea.  Do we even know where she is ?  @Whoopiewoop, where are you?

I'm here. We have just been more active on the Signal chat that we created in the past few days but we're staying here because we know it's easier for you to handle the Planet than phone apps.

 

You don't really need to feel for me. I did resign myself to not being able to go because of everything, and I had (kind of) come to terms with it but there was an angel who gifted me a London ticket this morning so I've been on cloud nine all day.

WOW!!!!!  I am so happy you got a ticket!  What would we do without our friends? Yes - I am a tech neophyte.  I should start using the signal app.  It would involve picking my phone up, however.  I'm so bad.  I do have it on there.

Pain still dominates (though disappointment not far behind with sadness for my dear friend in NS also heavy).

Resale sites don't open until 3 and 5 and I'll look, but even though El Paso and LA are closer, I'd be alone.  THe only way I'd go for either is if "my" seat is available and I'm not feeling super positive there. And no one wants to cone to the states (reasonable) so both El Paso and BOston would be lonely ventures,.

I do have an angel and she lives in Ottawa.

 

I'm cool using my phone and already have it loaded (and also not a Windows person though I see it's available for MAC).  My phone is mstly frustrating, as its an I12 so small.  I like that it's small because it fits easily in my back pocket but script is SMALL and hard to read (other than emails, etc).  I call it my teeny tiny computer.  When I come across a page that I feel I need to read, say on Weverse, I do a screenshot and then blow it up.

 

At first, I thought you wrote $140M in won which wouldn't be a big deal but this is huge.  And it's not what they/he made - it's the amount they owe.  Massive.

The best way is the Korean way. Face ID at the venue. If the registration doesn't match to your face ID, then you're out. It's limiting, yes, because they allow only one ticket per person but this eliminates the reseller completely, and fans can still resell their own tickets at face value if needed to another person and they will go through the same face ID checks. And a raffle would still allow scalpers to take part unless there is another identity check being done afterwards. I don't know how Japans works.

Completely agree.   How can HYBE implement this globally?   It's kind of like knowing Japan has a lottery system for skating event.  We all just know.  The Face ID would revolutionize ticket sales in the states.  There will/would be grumbling about "personal info" blah blah blah but we give them all our info anyway.  

I need to do the Face ID thing with Interpark/Nol, now that I am going to rejoin the,-after a year of communication that never changed my "official" email which is not my email.  I thnk I just wanted to make sure my hair was brushed.

 

Taylor has the influenece here.  And Bad Bunny and some country singers.  If they pushed for the Face ID, we could do it.

By the way, #103087 was not low man on the totem pole with TM.  I posted that TM didn't like me and I heard fro an ARMY who.....ready? had 224754 ahead of her in the queue for Munich.  Eee gads.  Would you even keep the computer on?  Having to remember that every ARMY can get up to four(!) tickets even though most, I bet, get two or three.  So if a venue has 60K seats, if you have 30K people ahead of you, there will be no good seat or seat at all before you get to the front.  Obviously too late for this tour but I think we should be part of a wave of ARMY pushing HYBE to go with the Face ID way that @Whoopiewoop mentioned.  They use that for NOL concerts there, though not required.  Just make it "required".  How many ARMY use TikTok (not me) though warned China is taking your data.  There is probably 4 ARMY in the US who wouldn't be willing to give their photo, etc., in order to have a fair shot at a seat for BTS (Or TXT, Enhypen, NCT17, Blackpink or even Taylor Swift).  There just needs to be a coordinated effort globally and needs to start now.  I know HYBE is into the bottom line and they sold every seat almost instantly but are also hearing from a lot of unhappy fans.  Unhappy ARMY can become non-ARMY and non-money spending music lovers   Fans can be fickle and if they feel unappreciated, they may well move to another company.  Yes, it would be and is hard to untether ARMY but there are a lot of baby ARMY out there who don't have the same loyalty we do.

Ideas?

@amylance1215 Do they use the Face ID for ticket verification in Asian countries?  Does it seem a problem?
