I was just listening to this story on Asian Entertainment. The youngest girl's Dad was always against splitting from Ador and even went to court with her mom to try to get decision making power early on. I wonder if he's the one that leaked the conversations with MHJ to the news. But her speculation is that he made a deal with Ador that the girls will do whatever Ador requires in exchange for no penalty or further lawsuit. We have to remember the importance of age hierarchy in Korea. I don't recall those 2 saying anything and were likely following the orders of their parents and older group members

 

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as long as they don't do anything shady going forward. I hope they get all their privileges taken away though - they should never have gotten them in the first place. It makes no sense that they were ever treated better than everyone else in the company. The only ones i've heard speaking are Hanni and Danielle and definitely don't trust them, especially considering the underhanded media statement they put out about the return to Ador. I'm guessing that they understood that the only thing going for them was their unity so gave up once that was gone - it's very telling about what's going on that the 2 youngest felt a need to negotiate in secret. But they should all have to make up the time lost on the contract, apologize to those other groups, and pay all the court fees, at the minimum.

 

 

btw, is it true that Jin was the only one that did the Like Crazy Challenge? He rarely does these even for BTS (and was clearly a bit off in the dance) so it was obviously a public statement of support to his dongsaengs. I remember him getting some hate for being a "company stan" or something of that ilk.

 

ETA: post says "first" so I'm guessing other idols did it but still a sweet and noble gesture from Jin

I believe that had more to do with showing support for the girls. Crazy came out during the height of the hate train against them because of the evil witch and her fabric minions. Plus that part of the choreo was easy lol

I think he did the very best thing by trying to clear the air on the whole NJ thing and get focused back to them, not that I had lost focus. I still think. It's likely that Hebe will cut their losses as much as they can by minimizing whatever they have to do with the girls. It'd still be best to split them up.

Namjoon is so smart and so perceptive and so helpful. Could we love him any more?

It's not just NJ, in fact, I think that's the least of their concern, to be honest. The whole fandom is in shambles between Taehyung being cancelled due to his ambassadorships (and I'm convinced that part of his emotional state during Jin's concert was because of that); Jungkook being, once again, the target of vile rumours that are getting more and more out of hand + crazies still trying to break into his house; Bang PD being investigated; a mother of one of the Seventeen members making it pretty clear she's bitter towards BTS; the things Jimin had to go through when they got back from LA.

 

It's all piling up.

 

And people are between fighting back, getting into a vicious circle of never ending bickering, or just reporting to Hybe for the legal team to take care of everything.

I think these plus NJ/MHJ are the real heavies. The rest is just noise... Tae getting canceled hasn't even shown up on my tl. The Jimin thing did, but it seemed like something that has happened before.

 

The JK rumours were so vile I actually braved that blasted hybe.protect portal and sent them a report of it all. But wow, it's by far the most user-unfriendly online form I've ever used. Every time I tried to switch tabs to double check the info I was reporting, it erased all my entries in the form and I had to start from scratch
