I can understand him promoting HumanMade stuff (other members of the group have, also) but see it more as a gesture than, say, a brand ambassador. Something's up, though, unless it was just shopping, which is possible and maybe not why he's in Japan.

I also love that Jin (and Wendy) are described as having "insane ranges". Jin has range, though, it really is Tae who has the widest range, since his voice is low but he carries off the falsetto stuff so beautifully.

I'm betting that Hobi is going to release an album then do a tour. Maybe he's collab'ing with someone from Japan? Could just be a vacation, but the fact that he's globe trotting is suspicious. It seems like he spent a significant time in LA. I also saw rumors about some major venue in Thailand (? - can't remember) being in talks about a major even with BTS in 2025. But that would likely be too soon for the group so the person thought it was a member.

I've always been curious about the vocal ranges. There's debate amongst the fandom. I've seen some rumors that Jin has as much as 5 octaves but most says ~3.5 (Suga says "more than 2"). We have to remember that Jin did the low notes in Dionysus, not Tae - I'm guessing because Jin has more projection in his voice and that song required power rather than lyric tones. A lot of the fandom says it's Tae but the members themselves say it's Jin, but then Jin himself says they're all about the same (although I do think Jin and Tae have more range than JK and Jimin).

My guess is that fans are basing it on highest and lowest recorded notes, but Tae himself has said that it damaged his voice to do falsetto as high as in one of his songs (I forget which one) so he no longer goes that high. I'm guessing that Tae might have the widest including the falsetto that he no longer does but Jin likely has the widest supported range (i.e. notes he's able to use his chest and project with)

Did you see the Peppa the Pig Dynamite yet? I hope parents don't think that BTS is a kids show though - they're clearly wanting to go toward a more adult sound. I imagine that Jin songs will always be G rated but RL and JK are already PG-13 to R.

Haven't a clue how the winners are tabulated.  Can we vote?

And TXT - I will be back in Korea in March and although Sean's vacation starts the afternoon of the 7th, I'm sure I could arrive on Jeju the 8th if I could get a ticket for the 7th in Incheon.

That would be cool. I still think it's sad that they don't take their dancers with them on tour, so you could get the full experience.

@Faithyu  Do you want us to try to get tickets for one of the cities?  Will there be intense competition anything like BTS?  If more of us try, better chance?  Of course, trying to resell tickets you don't need might not be easy.  I don't know how that works in the EU.

Thanks for the offer, but I think it will be ok😊. As you can no longer choose your seat, just the category, it's not as chaotic, no longer tickets vanishing out of your basket.

i guess this peppa pig thing is famous.....but honestly, i think the characters look creepy🙈.

Guys, something unbelievable nearly happened. I nearly missed watching Yuzus show😱.

When I got home yesterday (the second time), i just thought it would be a good idea to check when his show will be available in the archieve......just to see i had only 15h left😵‍💫🤯🤦🏼‍♀️.

I thought it would be on 14 days after the live stream, not that the view period started on the 14th.

So, first thing i did today, having breakfast while watching Yuzus show  (and re-watching Goliath and the encore three times).

Whoa - guess I'll watch Yuzu today, too.  And Peppa Pig is very popular with the 5 yr old set...

Hoping Tae's voice gets a break - it's not like they don't have three other high octave vocalists.

Hobi is definitely releasing and reminder: PDogg was in LA with him, so, at the very least, there was music produced.

Just a cute reminder of how far Yoongi went to be a good member:

Yeah, I was so busy this week that I never got a chance to watch the archive at all ☹️

I'd love it if Hobi repped Kenzo (the brand the Nigo guy is creative director for). My daily use perfume is Flower, by Kenzo, and I love the brand.

So far, all the categories I've seen have been "Best Selling" something or other. Weird awards.

@Faithyu and congrats to Seventeen as well

@Faithyu GG talk

Spoiler

btw, what did you think of Rosie? TBH, I was a little disappointed that the rest of the album was so one dimensional. Probably would have been better as a 6 song EP instead. As odd as it seems, Apt, the drinking game song, added depth to the album because it was so different.  But still, props to her for growing lyrically. It's leaps and bounds from ratata and dududu

Lyrically, she kind of reminds me of Taylor Swift - Rose clearly recently got out of a bad relationship.  I like that BP and BTS openly sing about relationships, etc. - hopefully someday, Korean Kpop fans will get the delulu knocked out of them and let idols live normal lives. Vocally, she kind of reminds me of Avril Lavigne - limited range and a thin tone, but has a rawness that can be appealing with the right song.
