LOL, the jacket fits the exact tone of his mic.

I loved the performance.

I think he looks a little sad.

I wouldn't interpret too much into it. It's a picture of a tiny moment we have no context off, so no need for worries ;)

I honestly didn't expect for RM to still make it into the top 10, or better, that Army could push him there. Well done (and freaking glad it didn't cost txt their award)

So happy for TxT! By the way what is happening with Soobin? He wasn't there ...

:angry_party:  Of course, I'm always happy to get new music but why the F*!k does Hybe schedule like this? It's only been a week since a major come back and now neither release is going to get proper reception. I understand that Tae's music is seasonal but this type of schedule is only going to cause further splintering of the fandom.

I'm so happy RM made it! It wasn't looking like he wasn't going to get there the day before. Also sad that Hobi was the only one left out - trust me that the "always picked last in gym class" feeling sticks with you for life. There's a reason he still references himself as not being handsome.

Soobin is taking a medical hiatus. It wasn't specified what the condition is.

US has a massive solo fanbase for Jimin (and Jungkook and Taehyung). They're the ones who are making a difference in numbers unfortunately. They're not ARMY. It all goes back to solo stans being a lot more active than actual ARMY, and it's reached a point where the fanbase has a lot more casual listeners than active streamers nowadays.

While I don't consider myself one of those casual fans, I am guilty of not having dozens of playlists for every release and streaming 24/7 as some other people are able to do it and that's okay because as much as I love the guys, I don't want to saturate myself. I have enough trouble reining in my periods of hyper-fixations because of my suspected ADHD and I try to pace myself. I buy only when I can. Sometimes even getting an album on iTunes has not been possible for me because I was short of money with £50 left until the end of the month and I bet a lot of other people have the same issue. Streaming is expensive, donations to pay for a streaming accounts barely make a dent in the numbers, physical releases, etc. It all accumulates. Depending on the month, sometimes people will be able to afford more than others. The festive season is coming around. I bet people are trying to save up every coin they can find for family dinners and presents. It's tough to be a pleb. 😂

Plus the streaming rules are still very confusing and I bet a lot of numbers are filtered because people are not doing it right.

On another note, I got my first 5* review on my Etsy shop :drink2:

I also don't have multiple playlists and don't listen 24/7 to them and yes, I, no we, have still every right to call us Army.

As you all know I like a lot of other groups as well and yes, there are days I don't even listen to a single bts song because I like another sound or songs on that day more.

So, I absolutely agree. Restriction is never good and I'm also not going to do it for bts.

Of course I try to watch a new mv multiple times through the day when it's release day, but I'm not buying multiple album versions or song versions. That's just not what I do and not something I want. And that's fine.

Fans should only do what they're comfortable with. Turning your hobby into work will only burn you out. I have no issue with people being casual fans or even solos (as long as they're not hostile) - it's actually a sign of a growing audience.

My gripe is when people ignore, manipulate, rationalize facts to push a certain narrative. It's annoying enough when they're merely deluding themselves; but it's a pet peeve of mine when people employ such tactics to gaslight and disparage others.

I'm so annoyed. I just found out I've been streaming wrong for years now. It turns out that whenever there's a remix and they include another copy of the main song, it gets counted and combined with the total streams for the main track. Thinking back, Hybe has been doing this all the way back since JK's Seven but because of the deep divide in the fandom, solos who have known this have been keeping this information to themselves and only been sharing it with members of the same faction. In the past, Army would have shared this information and worked together.

Jin is already back in Seoul....

I love that Hobi still has his model poses and model faces.  He didn't forget how to look drop dead gorgeous while in the military.  And he was having so much fun.  He and Jin give me hope that 18 months in the military will not diminish the other members joy.  Namjoon seems to be the only one visibly counting the days until he gets out, but they probably all are.

Jin has said that they all talk about life post-military and potential plans but neither he or Hobi have said recently how the other guys are doing.  I'd love to hear one or both of them give us an update on the other five,

I have yet to figure out whether that means the remixes add to the total stream count for charts, or not. I've seen streaming ARMY complaining on X that playlists that include remixes are all wrong but I've also seen the opposite.

As for streaming generally: I really don't think people should feel pressured into it. Not everyone can stream non-stop. But playing through the album a few times on Spotify or Apple Music ought to be doable for most people. Either way, you're still ARMY.

This is an idea you've expressed a lot, but so far evidence has been to the contrary. It looks as though the guys are handling the situation with great aplomb.

Funny thing about Hobi endorsing Audemars Piguet: about 3 days before Hobindid the live with their watch on his wrist, my brother, who also loves watches, was jokingly asking me to get him a Piguet for his birthday.

'Jokingly', because a Piguet cost about half what I paid for my house back in 2010. 🤯 basically, fantasy day dream stuff.
