All this talk of dogs made me remember Yuzuru is actually a Dog under the Chinese Zodiac!

Googled it:

 

People born in the year of the Dog may be endowed with some lovely dog personality traits: honest, amiable, kind, cautious, prudent, loyal, reliable, considerate, understanding, patient, hard-working, and sincere. Dogs are always ready to help others.

 

Sounds like Yuzu lol!

Lovely promotional photo for the News Every programme

 

It was so nice to see that all four of these marvellous dogs has a profile and biography. This kind of tribute demonstrates how valued these amazing, life saver, hard working, super specialist dogs are. They are clearly seen as vitally important members of the rescue team and given the recognition that they justifiably deserve
