Take a look at the protocols.

Was he the one who kind of started the UR call for Mao's 3A? I just remember some hate directed towards him regarding Mao.

Don't think he can judge the men's events though, due to him being a past coach of Patrick Chan, right?

Nah, he can. He said in an interview he was going to be at a men's international panel last season (maybe men at Worlds even, don't recall now) but something came up and he had to be at another competition or something like that. But he can.
